Counter Strike: Global Offensive DFS Picks (12/10/20) - FanDuel, DraftKings Daily Fantasy

Koby's DraftKings. DFS lineup picks for Early Morning Counter-Strike: Global Offensive on 12/10/20. He analyzes CS:GO slates and top targets for eSports DFS contests.

Hello Esports enthusiasts and welcome to our Esports coverage of CS:GO DFS! We have the Blast Premier Fall Finals as we prepare for the final tournament of the year with the IEM Global Challenge! My name is Koby and I'll be here to help make those tough decisions on who to play and who not to play in your DFS contests!

This week we have the toughest matches as the best teams in the world face off for a $225,000 prize. Today we saw Astralis and BiG making quick work of their opponents and G2 and Furia having a bloodbath of a matchup where G2 pulled out in the third map! Tomorrow we saw a rematch of champions with NAVI and Vitality,  and BiG and G2 take each other on and finishing the day off with Furia vs OG! Today I'll be bringing you my Counter-Strike: Global Offensive DFS lineup picks, analysis, and advice for eSports DFS contests on FanDuel and DraftKings for Thursday, December 10th at 7:00 am ET.

Be sure to also check out our awesome CS:GO Premium DFS Tools including our Research Station, Projections, and DFS Cheat Sheets! CS:GO DFS Picks

Best of 3 Series

  • Vitality (-165)  vs. Natus Vincere (+120)
  • BiG (Even) vs. G2 (-130)
  • Furia (-150) vs. OG (+110)

Captain Plays:

ZywOo: Between S1mple and ZywOo, it was a hard pick, and honestly you can't go wrong with either player. I chose ZywOo because Vitality has a more balanced team overall. NAVI is solely based on a fantastic performance from S1mple and if he is slightly off his game Vitality will be able to take advantage of. In the championship game against Natus Vincere. Vitality was able to win 3 straight maps after being down 0-2 to start. S1mple had 118 kills in that game. The rest of his team went negative on the day other than electronic. Vitality on the other hand the majority of the team went positive including Zywoo with 88 kills and went +17. So between both players, you can pick either one and they both provide upside but I like Vitality to get the win over S1mple and friends.

NiKo: NiKo has been playing very well since joining G2 2 months ago. In that time period, he has a 1.19 K/D and is getting .80 kills per round and .68 deaths per round. 10 of his 13 games since joining G2 have resulted in a positive K/D and rating for NiKo. He is definitely going to be a more contrarian play as people are immediately going to put S1mple or ZywOo at the captain spot and move on. But if you are looking for someone different. NiKo has the upside to go off at any time and break a slate right before your eyes. The last time NiKo went up against BiG, he went +19 on the day.

Yuurih: Yuurih in their loss today still scored better than the entire G2 team. That was in a loss, this is a great place as FURIA gets a more favorable matchup against OG. With how Yuurih performed, it makes me want to go right back to him as he absolutely killed it today and it's too bad the rest of his team couldn't help them get the win. Furia has the largest odds on the day to pull a sweep. He has a 1.30 K/D and has been getting .82 kills per round and only .63 deaths per round.  Before the loss against Astralis, Yuurih hadn't had a negative day since September 22nd. Yuurih has some of the most upside whether a win or loss.

Other captain plays: S1mple, syrson, HEN1, hunter

Value Plays:

Xantares: Whether or not BiG beats G2, Xantares is too damn cheap. 8,900 for someone who is a top player on BiG is a damn steal. The only way I see Xantares not being a good play is if G2 sweeps them and makes it very quick, more than likely though this game could go 3 maps and that means Xantares should pay off his price. He has a 1.15 K/D and gets about .72 kills per round and .63 deaths per round. He has gone positive in 6 of his last 7 games and all those games he went positive in the double digits. Whether you are stacking BiG or G2, Xantares is more than likely going to be the highest owned value play on the slate, so be ready for the chalk!

RPK: 9,900 for the 2nd/3rd best player on Vitality and the 2nd safest player. In the last month, he has been on fire! He has had a 1.20 K/D with .72 kills per round and .61 deaths per round. In his last game against Mouz, he went +21 and led his team to victory. He has gone positive in 3 of his last 4 games and all three of those games are +10 or better. If we get a performance like that again, we should see RPK paying off his salary once again.

VINI: I get it, VINI had a bad game and we don't want to go back to that. But that is the exact reason to go back to that. People are going to see that he played so poorly today they don't want to do that again. FURIA has a more favorable matchup against OG who got swept off the face of the earth earlier today. VINI's ownership is gonna elsewhere and I don't mind hopping right back on that train. Vini has the potential to be a top 3 player on the team and that's all we can ask for as Fanduel greatly inflated Hen1 and KSCERATO pricing. Vini has a 1.06 K/D and gets .67 kills per round and .63 deaths per round.

Other Value Plays: Amanek, Perfecto, Boombl4(Punt), valde (gpp)

Top Stacks/ Team Picks:

Vitality: Vitality is the No. 1 team in the world currently, and they made quick work of Mousesports the other day. They now get a rematch against Natus Vincere who they took down in the IEM Bejing tournament in the championship to win 3-2. with the addition of Nivera, Zywoo finally gets more help to add to their arsenal of straight killers. But this means someone has the chance to be subbed out in each map. The three players we have to keep an eye on is Shox, Misutaaa, and Nivera. Making all these players a risk to use in your lineup as they might only play one game or in the case of a 3 map game, only 2. Making Zywoo and RPK the main players to look for and in a full-stack, you can add apEX as well.

Furia: Even though they lost to a great G2 team, they still kept it competitive and almost won winning the first map and then taking the second map to overtime before losing in OT and the third map. Furia's main players in yuurih and Hen1 still both scored better than all of G2 did. This is great to see, cause it showed they were still competitive. Whereas their opponent, OG looked horrible as they were absolutely dominated by BiG as they were swept 32-26, with valde being the only one that scored decently. Looking at Furia, I see this as a rebound game where they come in and dominate and beat a down bad OG team. arT looked a lot better than VINI did today but I'm sure VINI had a fluke of a game and should perform better tomorrow. Yuurih, Hen1, and Kscerato are still top plays for FURIA.

Other Top Stacks/ Teams: G2, Natus(or just s1mple)
