ANALYSIS: Cleveland Guardians outfield prospect Chase DeLauter is considered to be one of the top outfield prospects in the sport. However, DeLauter has dealt with numerous injuries that have prevented him from reaching the majors.
Last season, DeLauter appeared in just 39 total games in the minor leagues. He spent most of his time with Double-A Akron and held a solid .252/.328/.441 slash line with six doubles and five home runs. He earned a brief six-game taste of Triple-A, where he posted an impressive .304/.407/.739 line with two round-trippers.

The 23-year-old also had a delayed start to the 2025 camp season due to sports hernia surgery. However, on May 22, the Guardians activated DeLauter off the Triple-A injured list. So far, he has appeared in four games with Triple-A Columbus and has held a .231/.375/.538 line with a double and a long ball.
If the former 16th overall pick continues to hit for power at Triple-A, DeLauter could be in the mix to earn the call to Cleveland before the end of June. If he has another strong week at Triple-A, he would be worth stashing in all five-outfielder leagues.
