MLB Home Run Player Prop Bets Today: Best Hitter HR Props (8/10/2025)

Tyler Soderstrom - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, MLB Injury News

Koby's best MLB player prop bets for today (8/10/2025). Bet his home run props (HR props) and win money betting on MLB player props, including Tyler Soderstrom, Kerry Carpenter, Mickey Moniak, and Mike Yastrzemski!

Welcome back, RotoBallers! If you get a chance, take a look at the MLB DFS article I wrote up as well! We have a great slate ahead of us with ample home run opportunities. So, let's dive in and make some cash on this wonderful Sunday!

The strategy for targeting home run props involves several key factors, such as batted ball metrics, lefty-righty splits, weather conditions, and park factors. We also want to ensure we're getting a favorable price with betting odds. In this article, I attempt to provide home run bets with as much value as possible. I try not to pick the obvious plays, especially when the plan is to use them in a round-robin format. Hitting a couple of value home runs when we can provides significant upside in a round robin.

Below, you'll read about my favorite home run props from MLB games on Sunday, August 102025. Odds for each pick are from FanDuel Sportsbook and are subject to change throughout the day. Remember to always shop around at other sportsbooks for the best price so you can get more value on your wagers. Odds can vary greatly from one sportsbook to another.

MLB Prop Bets - Today's Home Run Prop Picks (8/10/2025)

Here are all the hitters I'll cover for HR props on Sunday, August 10:

Tyler Soderstrom OVER 0.5 Home Runs (+460 FanDuel)

We are getting incredible odds on Soderstrom here, who has recently mashed a pair of lefty-on-lefty home runs. He gets the benefit of a positive park factor for lefties in Camden Yards as well.

Cade Povich grades out here as one of the best options to hit a home run off on this slate. He has the highest HardHit% at 49.8% and the highest Barrel% at 14%. He also has a 1.54 HR/9 on the season, and that number increases to 2.04 specifically against LHP.

Soderstrom has the fourth-best odds for any Athletic on FanDuel. I like Shea Langeliers as well, but hitting toward left field is a bit tougher; however, his splits against lefties have been incredible. Consider Shea Langeliers as well at +285!

Kerry Carpenter OVER 0.5 Home Runs (+425 FanDuel)

Jack Kochanowicz has been blown up by LHH this season, especially by the home run. He has given up 14 home runs to LHH on the season so far and has a .500 SLG and .375 wOBA. On the season, he has a 1.96 HR/9. He has a 47.9% HardHit% (third-highest on the slate).

His Barrel% of 8.3% is low, but the Z-Contact% of 91.7% is extremely high; all it takes is Carpenter getting the right ball in the zone, and it could very well be gone.

Carpenter has hit 18 of his 20 home runs this season off RHP, where he has a .557 SLG and .282 ISO this season. He is hitting the ball very hard with a HardHit% of 46.5% and a 14% Barrel%. He has four home runs off righties in the last 10 days as well, and with a good matchup like this, I expect him to get another here.

Mickey Moniak OVER 0.5 Home Runs (+600 DraftKings)

Brandon Pfaadt is having a down year; he has given up 20 home runs this season. 12 to lefties and eight to righties. He has a 1.48 HR/9 on the season and has been crushed to the tune of a 47.8% HardHit% and a 12.5% Barrel%.

The tough part about this spot is that Arizona park factors for lefties aren't great. It is, however, supposed to be very hot with temperatures in the 100s. That should help the ball travel a bit farther. Mickey Moniak has shown new life in a Rockies uniform. This season, he has 17 home runs, with 16 of them being against RHP, where he has a .553 SLG and .282 ISO.

This is a great spot for Moniak to go yard, and if we get a little bit of wind in our favor, then this is a great value for him at +370.

Mike Yastrzemski OVER 0.5 Home Runs (+320 DraftKings)

Mike Yastrzemski has looked solid with his new team so far. He has two home runs since joining the Royals, both of which were off an RHP. To start the game, he gets Jose Urena, who is by far one of the worst starters in the league. Urena has a 2.63 HR/9 against LHH this season. He also has allowed an absurd 16.3% Barrel% this season.

Yastrzemski has hit nine of his 10 home runs off RHP this season and sports a .419 SLG and .162 ISO against them. He has also seen his average exit velocity tick up about 5 mph recently compared to his season average. He is hitting the ball harder and getting a better matchup in this one. Sign me up!

Odds haven't been released for this game, as the Twins haven't officially announced Urena is starting, but it looks that way. Yastrzemski, as well as Bobby Witt Jr., both look like solid options here to hit a home run.

Heliot Ramos OVER 0.5 Home Runs (+550 DraftKings)

Temps in the Bay Area this afternoon are going to be chilly, but the wind could be gusting up to 10 mph out to left-center field at Oracle Park. That could be very bad news for Nationals lefty MacKenzie Gore, who has been drubbed in both of his last two starts for 14 runs and 20 hits in just 8+ innings. Gore gave up two homers in each of those outings and has been a shell of himself in the second half after looking like one of the biggest breakouts of the first half.

Gore now has a 1.21 HR/9 mark on the season, and with just a 35% GB%, he's likely to give up plenty of fly balls. His strikeouts have dipped in a big way, so the chances of Giants hitters making contact look pretty good.

Ramos has great career splits against lefties and should lead off for the Giants, giving him the opportunity for as many as five at-bats. It's been a month since Ramos last left the yard, so we are going out on a limb here a bit, but that's also why we are getting such good odds on a very good hitter, too.

Ramos is not cold at the plate; he's been piling up hits, with 10 in his last six games. He just hasn't put one over the fence in a while. Perhaps a matchup with a struggling pitcher who may have hit the proverbial wall this season is just what he needs to get another dinger today.
