DraftKings CBB DFS Lineup Picks for 3/1/22 - Daily Fantasy College Basketball Advice

TyTy Washington Jr. CBB DFS lineup picks NCAA daily fantasy college basketball

We have finally reached March! The madness hasn't quite arrived yet, but the Conference Championship tournaments for some smaller conferences start this week. We have a ten-game slate before we really get into the madness of March. We start off a little earlier tonight with Georgia hosting Tennessee and Villanova hosting Providence at 6:30 Eastern.

Our normal start time brings us Kentucky hosting Ole Miss, Missouri heading to the other Columbia to take on the Gamecocks, Oklahoma hosting West Virginia, and Ohio State welcoming in Nebraska for a beating. An hour later we have Kansas heading to TCU and Pitt hosts Duke. We end the night with Vandy hosting Florida and Michigan hosting "little brother." This is going to be a fun one!

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 3/1/22 starting at 6:30pm Eastern. I’ll be providing multiple player suggestions for players at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option apiece at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CBB DFS Guards

Ochai Agbaji, Kansas ($8,700)

There's not a lot at the top of the guards that I like tonight, but Agbaji's upside is tough to ignore. As far as Big 12(10) defense goes, TCU is among the worst in the conference against guards. Agbaji has turned into a star this year. He has at least 38 DraftKings points in three of the last four games, one of those being against Baylor. Agbaji does enough besides score to give him nice upside on a slate that isn't heavy on star power.

Kario Oquendo, Georgia ($7,400)

The matchup with Tennessee does make me a little nervous, especially with is price rising as well. The Bulldogs only have one conference win, but they have been competitive of late and it's mostly because of Oquendo. If he can dump in 20 points and rack up 30.5 DraftKings points on Florida, I have to think he at least has a chance to do that against the Vols. Oquendo has ten made threes over the last two games. He's shooting well and carrying Georgia right now. Ride him until he cools off.

Tyree Appleby, Florida ($6,000)

Appleby's thigh injury seems to be behind him since he has three straight games over 28 DraftKings points. His price has been a little slow to adjust, which is good for us. We're getting a guy who's at least going to flirt with 30 DraftKings points in the mid-range. His upside isn't all that high since Appleby really only contributes in points and assists, but he did put up 29.5 DraftKings points on Vandy back in January. I think he can do it again.

Dajuan Harris, Kansas ($5,000)

The Jayhawks are willing to let Harris continue to play big minutes with somewhat mixed results. He is more willing to shoot than he was early on, but will his 0-for-6 performance in the loss to Baylor on Saturday affect his confidence? For this price, it's worth it to find out in GPP formats. His ceiling is somewhere around 6x value against TCU. Harris is one of those guys who will stay on the court for a while even if Kansas runs off with this.

TyTy Washington, Kentucky ($4,800)

You're not going to see this again. Washington, despite playing 35 minutes and putting up 20.25 DraftKings points against Arkansas, saw his price dip another hundred bucks in his first game back from an ankle injury. Washington struggled with his shot against the hogs, but his peripheral numbers were still strong. Washington was a mostly good shooter before he went down almost two weeks ago. He'll get that form back at some point, but the price is so low that he's going to give us a good number even if the shots still aren't falling.

Also consider: Scotty Pippen Jr, Vanderbilt ($9,400); Jared Bynum, Providence ($7,300); Justin Moore, Villanova ($7,200); Jordan Goldwire, Oklahoma ($6,200); Jarkel Joiner, Mississippi ($6,000); A.J. Reeves, Providence ($5,800); Jamari Wheeler, Ohio State ($5,200); Marvin Johnson, Oklahoma ($3,800)

DraftKings CBB DFS Forwards

Oscar Tshiebwe, Kentucky ($10,500)

I wasn't really high on Tshiebwe against Arkansas and that almost turned my Saturday into a total loss. He put up a whopping 65 points on the Hogs with a massive 30 points and 18 rebounds. We know the rebounds will be there – Tshiebwe hasn't had under a dozen since before Christmas – but his scoring ability just seems to get better as well. There isn't a guy from Ole Miss that can guard him. Tshiebwe could be in for another big game here.

E.J. Liddell, Ohio State ($8,600)

Liddell has continued to play big minutes despite an illness late last week and into the weekend. It may still be affecting him a little if his poor shooting against Maryland – which is really out of character for him – is any indication. Despite the poor shooting, Liddell still put up decent numbers. He was good for 37.5 DraftKings points in the first meeting with Nebraska in Lincoln and averages about four more DraftKings points per game at home. If he's not still under the weather, he could be in for a nice rebound game here.

Jalen Hill, Oklahoma ($5,700)

The Sooners looked to be on the way up when they blasted the Red Raiders in Norman on February 9. Since then, they lost a heartbreaker at the Phog, lost another heartbreaker at home to Texas, and got destroyed by Iowa State and Texas Tech before getting back on track with an overtime Bedlam win (don't even get me started on that....the game should have never been in question). This team is in a tailspin right now. The only constant has been Hill. He has at least 22 DraftKings points in four of the last five games and I'm willing to forgive the lackluster showing against the Red Raiders. Everyone else sucked in that game too.

Trevon Brazile, Missouri ($5,500)

The minutes have finally stabilized for the freshman thanks to strong play. Brazile has played at least 22 minutes in five straight games with at least 15 DraftKings points in each. The low point was against the Vols, which is totally forgivable. There are seniors that struggled against that team. His strong showing against LSU over the weekend has me believing that he could flirt with mid-20s against a team like South Carolina. There's decent upside here.

Moussa Diabate, Michigan ($5,000)

For those of us that can't afford the consistent strong play of Dickinson, Diabate is a decent plan B. He put up 29.5 DraftKings points in the first game against little brother. Diabate has a high ceiling, but the floor can be terrifying. He's no stranger to foul trouble and can't shoot a shot outside of 19 feet to save his soul. Still, Diabate is a good rebounder and active defender if he can stay on the court, making him a solid GPP option.

Also consider: Colin Castleton, Florida ($9,300); Hunter Dickinson, Michigan ($8,400); John Hugley, Pitt ($7,000); Jermaine Samuels, Villanova ($6,400); Tanner Graves, Oklahoma ($5,600); Julius Marble, Michigan State ($4,700); Xavier Cork, TCU ($4,000)
