DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (11/21/21): NBA DFS Lineups

Stephen Curry - NBA DFS Picks, Daily Fantasy Basketball

The top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on November 21, 2021. Mike Marteny provides NBA DFS analysis and sleeper picks for building optimal DFS rosters.

We have another four-gamer in the NBA with a matinee showdown between Dallas and the Clippers in L.A. as the appetizer. Don't worry. There are plenty of stars out in the four games.

We have some fun teams such as the Bulls and Suns. We have the grinders like the Knicks and Warriors. We have DFS nightmares in Denver and Toronto. We have the up-and-(maybe)coming Pistons. Then there's the Lakers, who need no introduction. LeBron will tell you how you can feel about them.

This article will provide you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 11/21/21. You can also check out today's FanDuel lineup picks. Remember to monitor injury news as the slate can completely change before lineups lock.

DraftKings Guards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Stephen Curry - PG, GS vs. TOR ($11,200)

The Warriors are cruising in the early going and it has a lot to do with Curry. He is averaging 29.5 points per game and has cleared 40 a few times for good measure. Curry is particularly hot of late, putting up at least 56 DraftKings points in four straight games. You have to pay a pretty penny for Steph, and the prospect of a blowout is concerning, but it is worth mentioning that the Warriors have won three of those four games by 15 or more points. There's still enough upside to use him in GPP formats.

Cade Cunningham - PG/SG, DET vs. LAL ($7,100)

It took a bit for Cunningham to get his bearings in The Association, but he has been on quite a tear of late. Cunningham has at least 40 DraftKings points in three straight games. He has done it with excellent peripheral stats and efficient shooting, just like he did in his one year at Oklahoma State. The Lakers guard defense has been atrocious in the early going since they prioritized offense over defense. Cunningham should clear 40 again tonight.

Frank Jackson - PG, DET vs. LAL ($3,900)

Yep, I'll use both Pistons guards against the Lakers. Jackson is especially enticing considering his stat line on Friday against the Warriors. Jackson dropped 27 points and nearly sprung the upset on the Warriors. Whereas Cunningham excels at stuffing stat sheets, Jackson is almost exclusively a scorer. That relegates him to GPP usage only, but considering the Lakers guard defense and the low price, he's worth the risk tonight. As long as Killian Hayes is out again, that is.

Others to consider: Zach LaVine ($8,700), Will Barton ($7,200), Monte Morris ($4,600), Cory Joseph ($3,200)

DraftKings Forwards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

DeMar DeRozan - PF, CHI vs. NYK ($8,500)

DeRozan is still one of the best scorers in the league and his peripheral numbers are as good as ever. DeRozan has taken over as the leader of the Bulls and he is putting up the stat lines to go with it. I'll take that over the inconsistency of Randle. If LeBron sits this one out, I'll have healthy doses of Anthony Davis. If not, DeRozan is an excellent plan B.

Aaron Gordon - PF, DEN at PHX ($6,300)

Gordon thrived with both Michael Porter and Nikola Jokic out on Friday. We know that Porter is still out. Denver has been mum about just how significant the injury to Jokic really is. I'm expecting Joker to still be out, but if not, it's an easy enough pivot to Draymond. If Jokic is out, Gordon has the potential for another huge game. He nearly dropped 50 DraftKings points in the loss to the Bulls on Friday.

Derrick Jones Jr. - SF/PF, CHI vs. NYK ($3,400)

The play of Jones while Nikola Vucevic has been out with COVID should help him net more minutes even when Vucevic returns. The earliest Vucevic could return is tonight, and considering how most NBA teams handle a player returning from COVID, I would expect Vucevic to have his minutes limited. Assuming that plays out, Jones is a strong value pick for the price. He's not going to start anytime soon, but he has been productive in the 20-25 minutes that he does play.

Others to consider: Julius Randle ($9,700), Draymond Green ($6,600), Scottie Barnes ($6,500), Carmelo Anthony ($4,900)

DraftKings Centers - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Deandre Ayton - C, PHX vs. DEN ($7,500)

This is another play that hinges on the status of Jokic. If Joker is in, I'm not going to run Ayton at him. Ayton has put up good number lately, but it should be taken with a grain of salt since Dallas, Minnesota, Cleveland, and Houston don't defend the interior well. Denver wont either if Jokic remains out. If Joker plays, I'll most likely wind up with Anthony Davis or Draymond at center.

Isaiah Stewart - C, DET vs. LAL ($4,600)

This is a guard-oriented team. That is going to be especially true against the Lakers. However, Stewart is going to log good minutes with Kelly Olynyk out. Center is a beaten up position with little value to offer tonight. This is especially true if both Jokic and Vucevic remain out. Punting with Stewart is looking better and better considering what we have to work with in the frontcourt.

Others to consider: Nikola Jokic ($11,400), Precious Achiuwa ($3,900), JaVale McGee ($3,900)
