ANALYSIS: Antonio Gibson keeps grinding through the season despite playing through multiple injuries but his effectiveness continues to wane. Rather than resting him, Washington is opting to lighten his load in-game with fewer touches. Rookie Jaret Patterson outrushed Gibson by carrying 11 times for 46 yards whereas Gibson carried eight times for 34 yards. It might take Gibson sitting out for Patterson to be appealing in fantasy since J.D. McKissic owns the pass-catching role and the offensive line is currently in shambles. Patterson remains a deep stash or insurance policy for Gibson owners.
