The Seattle Seahawks are expected to release former starting cornerback Tre Flowers, according to a source. Flowers began the season as a starter but was benched in favor of Sidney Jones after the Week 3 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. He started 40 games in three-plus seasons in Seattle after he was drafted in the fifth round in 2018. Flowers was converted from safety to cornerback and won a starting job as a rookie while replacing veteran Richard Sherman. The 26-year-old's issues in coverage started surfacing in the postseason in 2019, which led the team to trade for Quinton Dunbar last year. Flowers started seven games in 2020 as an injury replacement.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
