Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Clubs 23rd Homer
3 years agoToronto Blue Jays first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr, kept his MVP-type season going on Saturday by clobbering his league-leading 23rd homer of the season in the club's 10-7 win over the Orioles. His solo shot in the first came off starter Dean Kremer, but the 22-year-old's biggest hit of the day came in the ninth when he hit a bases-loaded double to right field that cashed in two runners to tie the game. Guerrero finished the afternoon going 2-for-5 to up his average to .337 with 59 RBI as his Triple Crown watch continues. Managers should feel ecstatic about the return of his draft-day cost as the only thing holding him back from being the top fantasy player is his stolen base total.
