Jorge Polanco Plates A Run In Blowout Loss
Jorge Polanco continued his strong month of hitting in Monday's blowout loss to the White Sox. Polanco ripped an RBI single, which registered an exit velocity of 105.3 MPH- in the eighth inning off of White Sox reliever Jose Ruiz. The 27-year-old now has 13 hits in his last nine games- and is batting .308 with two long balls and 14 combined runs and RBI in May. Polanco is the hottest hitter in the Twins' lineup right now- and his hard contact percentage is the highest of his career. He'll get a tricky matchup on Tuesday against Lance Lynn, though he did go 1-for-3 with a double off of him in last week's meeting.
