2021 NFL Mock Draft - Day Three (Rounds 4-7)

Below are the results from Days 1 and 2, along with live updates from Day 3 (Rounds 4-7)

I have been updating the mock draft very frequently as I have in years past. There are 50-60 factors I look at in determining updates. Everything from free agent signings, team releases, new coaching staffs, player workouts, all the way down to the agents representing players are considered.

Follow the latest NFL Draft news and rookie breakdowns all offseason long at our NFL homepage.

Editor's Note: Our incredible team of writers won two writing awards and received 12 award nominations by the Fantasy Sports Writers Association. Already Completed - Round 1

1. Jacksonville - Trevor Lawrence (QB, Clemson)
Nobody is surprised by this one as the Jaguars get their franchise quarterback,

2. NY Jets - Zach Wilson (QB, BYU)
I hope our feelings about Wilson are wrong. The Jets got who they want, now it's time to build the team around him.

3. San Francisco - Trey Lance (QB, North Dakota State)
Our hunch on Lance was correct. Looks like the 49ers and onto Jimmy G. for the time being.

4. Atlanta - Kyle Pitts (TE, Florida)
Do the Falcons have enough for a playoff run this season? Just need to finish games in 2021. Atlanta gets the best skill position player in the Draft as we had him graded ahead of Trevor Lawrence.

5. Cincinnati - Ja'Marr Chase (WR, LSU)
As I stated, Sewell was the pick I would make but the Bengals seem to want the Burrow-Chase connection and it happened.

6. Miami - Jaylen Waddle (WR, Alabama)
We had Dolphins taking waddle over Smith...we are 6-6.

7. Detroit - Penei Sewell (OT, Oregon)
Detroit was a hard team to read but in the end they stay put and take the best player on the board. Well done.

8. Carolina - Jaycee Horn (CB, South Carolina)
First one we missed on but certainly a nice pick. Horn winds up as the first corner off the board in a division where quarterback play is at a premium.

9. Denver - Patrick Surtain II (CB, Alabama)
Not a position where we think the Broncos have the biggest need but great value and again a division where lots of great quarterbacks reside.

10. Philadelphia(Trade up from #12) - DeVonta Smith (WR, Alabama)
So the Eagles drop from 6 to 12 then back up to 10. The Eagles wind up gaining a first rounder and losing a third rounder so it all worked out for Philadelphia.

11. Chicago(Trade up from #20) - Justin Fields (QB, Ohio State)
The Bears gave up a lot to get him and Chicago has a capable quarterback in Andy Daulton as the starter. Don't be surprised if Fields is worked into certain packages immediately.

12. Dallas(Trade back from #10) - Micah Parsons (LB, Penn State)
The Cowboys go defense, just not the cornerback as many were expecting. Put aside the off-the-field issues and the Cowboys may have scored the best defensive player in the draft.

13. LA Chargers - Rashawn Slater (OG, Northwestern)
Amazing value as the Chargers get top ten value at #13. Slater has the ability to play multiple positions and Justin Herbert couldn't be happier.

14. New York Jets (Trade up from #23) - Alijah Vera-Tucker (OG, USC)
The Jets didn't have to give up very much to move up nine spots. Like taking Tucker a year after hitting on Mechi Becton.

15. New England - Mac Jones (QB, Alabama)
We are back on the scoreboard and the Patriots have to be ecstatic since they didn't have to move to get him.

16. Arizona - Zaven Collins (LB, Tulsa)
A little puzzled here as it feels like the Cardinals redrafted Isaiah Simmons. Can't argue with the production as Collins won the Bronco Nagurski Trophy last season.

17. Las Vegas - Alex Leatherwood (OT, Alabama)
Feels like a bit of a reach but Leatherwood at guard isn't that bad. We feel good since many didn't have Leatherwood in the first round and we mocked him at #21 to Indianapolis.

18. Miami - Jaelen Phillips (DE, Miami)
We were close as we mocked the right position and school but this was Jaelen Phillips vice Gregory Rousseau. Nice pick for the Dolphins.

19. Washington - Jamin Davis (LB, Kentucky)
Not a surprise as Davis was flying up the boards. We had mocked Micah Parsons here so clearly linebacker was an area of need.

20. New York Giants (Trade back from #11) - Kadarius Toney (WR, Florida)
Taking a wide receiver is not a surprise but a gimmicky wide receiver that lined up more in the backfield at Florida than at receiver is a bit puzzling.

21. Indianapolis - Kwity Paye (DE, Michigan)
Paye looks to be a situational player that will need to be coached up to be a consistent contributor. If the Colts add some veterans along the edge in free agency then this pick makes more sense.

22. Tennessee - Caleb Farley (CB, Virginia Tech)
We said Farley was too good to drop out of the first round and the Titans got value from Jeffrey Simmons in a similar situation a few years back.

23. Minnesota (Trade back from #14) - Christian Darrisaw (OT, Virginia Tech)
We had Darrisaw to the Vikings at #14 so here they trade back 9 places and still get their man. The Vikings need to improve both lines so go along the defensive front on Day 2.

24. Pittsburgh - Najee Harris (RB, Alabama)
The Steelers make the predictable pick with a running back while ignoring the offensive line with massive holes. We got the pick right and there are already "ROY" chants going on in Pittsburgh but somebody needs to block.

25. Jacksonville - Travis Etienne (RB, Clemson)
Not liking the fit here but at least Trevor Lawrence knows his new weapon. Feels like a decent complement to James Robinson but the fumbling is an issue.

26. Cleveland - Greg Newsome II (CB, Northwestern)
I am a little surprised this was not a linebacker with JOK and Nick Bolton on the board. Newsome was largely avoided this past season as opposing teams stayed away and did their due diligence.

27. Baltimore - Rashod Bateman (WR, Minnesota)
Many are down on the fantasy value for Bateman but I am not so sure. Think the eye-popping catch numbers may not be there but Baltimore wants to move away from being so tight end heavy in the red zone.

28. New Orleans - Payton Turner (DE, Houston)
Turner was moving up but this high? Wow, the Saints made a similar move and even traded up for Marcus Davenport a few years back and that has yielded mixed results.

29. Green Bay - Eric Stokes (CB, Georgia)
A little surprised this is Stokes but we have said all along he was a better corner than Tyson Campbell and should be selected first. A position of need for Green Bay and no wide receiver (again) for Aaron Rodgers.

30. Buffalo - Gregory Rousseau (DE, Miami)
The Bills get the best raw pass rusher in the draft. Felt like a pass rusher or a running back all along and with Etienne and Harris off the board it narrowed the Bills search.

31. Baltimore - Jayson Oweh (DE, Penn State)
The workout numbers were off the charts but his well-documented 0 sack season should be alarming. The Ravens are drafting solely on promise vice production.

32. Tampa Bay - Joe Tryon (LB, Washington)
With all 22 starters back the newest Buccaneers might not see much time. Tryon projects as a situational pass-rushing specialist so this seems like a fit as Tampa builds on what they do best, getting after the quarterback.

Round 2 - NFL Mock Draft

33. Jacksonville - Tyson Campbell (CB, Georgia) Jacksonville dips their toes in the secondary, good start to the second day.

34. New York Jets - Elijah Moore (WR, Mississippi) I was not nearly as high on Moore and correctly predicted he would not go in Round one. He is a good pick for Zach Wilson.

35. Denver - Javonte Williams (RB, North Carolina) Denver gets a workhorse that is hard to bring down. Trading with Atlanta you knew this was for a quarterback or a running back.

36. Miami - Jevon Holland (S, Oregon)
We had a safety here as the Dolphins are loaded at cornerback and considerably thinner at safety.

37. Philadelphia - Landon Dickerson (C, Alabama) With his history of injuries he is an instant fit in Philadelphia. Good player but the Eagles ignored linebacker and corner...again.

38. New England - Christian Barmore (DT, Alabama) The Patriots being the Patriots. First defensive tackle off the board and 8th Alabama player out of 38 picks...wow.

39. Chicago Bears - Teven Jenkins (OT, Oklahoma State) We had Jenkins at #39 so the Bears must have read my mock and knew they needed to make a move. First Big 12 player selected.

40. Atlanta - Richie Grant (S, UCF)
We had Grant going a bit earlier at #36, it is the right time as we could start to see a mini run on safeties.

41. Detroit - Levi Onwuzurike (DT, Washington) We had Levi as the second defensive tackle off the board

42. Miami Dolphins - Liam Eichenberg (OT, Notre Dame) We had Eichenberg as a late Round 1 selection so seeing him go here is not a surprise. The Dolphins are having a solid draft.

43. Las Vegas Raiders - Trevon Moehrig (S, TCU) This is who we had the Raiders electing in Round 1. We remember that the Raiders make picks that make you question your sanity but looks like they got this one right.

44. Dallas - Kelvin Joseph (CB, Kentucky)
Another strong pick for Dallas and another with some questionable off the field issues. So basically...another Cowboy fit.

45. Jacksonville - Walker Little (OT, Stanford) This could be a major steal for the Jaguars. Little was thought to be a possible top ten candidate at the start of last season. Urban Meyer showing well in his first draft with Jacksonville.

46. Cincinnati - Jackson Carman (OG, Clemson)
See Carman as a guard at the NFL level. Carman has great size but plays very stiff. At least the Bengals are going along the offensive line.

47. Los Angeles Chargers - Asante Samuel Jr. (CB, Florida State) Is there a team that has received more value on paper than the Chargers, they are killing it right now.

48. San Francisco - Aaron Banks (OG, Notre Dame) Thought this was a little early for Banks but he was a player that you could see improve every game.

49. Arizona - Rondale Moore (WR, Purdue)
One of the most underrated players at wide receiver. Produced as an underclassmen and injuries slowed him down a bit in his last two campaigns.

50. New York Giants - Azeez Ojulari (LB, Georgia) Score one for our mock! Great value getting Ojulari at the #50 overall pick.

51. Washington - Samuel Cosmi (OT, Texas)
Consistency isn't there for Cosmi but Washington is going along the offensive line like we said they had to.

52. Cleveland - Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah (LB, Notre Dame) How JOK lasted this long is beyond us. The hometown team hosting the draft has a lot to cheer about. We had stated JOK or Nick Bolton were tailor made for this defense.

53. Tennessee - Dillon Radunz (OT, North Dakota State) Solid selection for Tennessee. We rated this a little high but it's in an area of need.

54. Indianapolis - Dayo Odeyingbo (DT, Vanderbilt) Odeyingbo and Kwity Paye. The Colts are getting athletes with promise along the defensive line. Colts are also the leaders in the clubhouse for drafting the best names in 2021.

55. Pittsburgh - Pat Freiermuth (TE, Penn State) Pittsburgh gets an extension of the offensive line although Freiemuth is known more for stretching the defense.

56. Seattle - D'Wayne Eskridge (WR, Western Michigan) Like the player and the big play ability but Russell has to stay clean. Wonder how Wilson feels about that selection.

57. Los Angeles Rams - Tutu Atwell (WR, Louisville) Surprising the Rams went with a wide receiver with their first selection. Great player who we thought was being overlooked by virtually everybody.

58. Kansas City - Nick Bolton (LB, Missouri)
Great value for the Chiefs and we stated Kansas City or Cleveland was the perfect fit for Bolton.

59. Carolina - Terrace Marshall Jr. (WR, LSU) Great value and who knew the Panthers knew how to draft offensive players! Marshall is reunited with his offensive coordinator from the National Championship LSU team.

60. New Orleans - Pete Werner (LB, Ohio State) Fundamentally sound linebacker that covers a lot of ground. Still think this is a bit of a reach at #60 but New Orleans is famous for reaching for players they covet.

61. Buffalo - Carlos Basham Jr. (DE, Wake Forest) Like the versatility here as he can play inside or outside.

62. Green Bay - Josh Myers (C, Ohio State)
We had the Packers looking center a little later. Not a bad pick but still no wide receiver for Mr. Rodgers.

63. Kansas City - Creed Humphrey (C, Oklahoma) Great pick and look out, the run on centers has begun!

64. Tampa Bay - Kyle Trask (QB, Florida)
Can you imagine getting drafted into the league and getting to sit behind Tom Brady? What a dream scenario for Trask.

Round 3 - NFL Mock Draft

65. Jacksonville - Andre Cisco (S, Syracuse)
Before his knee injury he was seen by many as the top safety in this class. Jacksonville goes corner and safety on day two...we had it safety and then corner.

66. Minnesota - Kellen Mond (QB, Texas A&M)
With four picks in round 3 we thought Minnesota would use one on a quarterback and they do it right away.

67. Houston - Davis Mills (QB, Stanford)
It had to pain the Texans to make a quarterback pick with their first selection in round 3. It is going to be a long year for Houston.

68. Atlanta - Jalen Mayfield (OT, Michigan)
Wildly inconsistent with a ton of talent. Interesting that Atlanta announced him as a guard and not as a tackle.

69. Cincinnati - Joeseph Ossai (LB, Texas)
Thought it would be another pick along the offensive line but Ossai was graded as a second rounder so this is a great value.

70. Carolina - Brady Christensen (OT, BYU)
A pair of picks on offense for the Panthers. A little surprised a tight end wasn't selected but an offensive tackle was on the short list.

71. New York Giants - Aaron Robinson (CB, UCF) One of the most physical corners on the board. Great pick for the Giants.

72. Detroit - Alim McNeill (DT, NC State)
Detroit with their second defensive tackle. Curious selection and we felt there were better defensive tackles available.

73. Philadelphia - Milton Williams (DT, Louisiana Tech) Could be a real sleeper but again the avoidance at linebacker and cornerback is puzzling.

74. Washington - Benjamin St-Juste (CB, Minnesota) Well done WFT, this is a pick that would have made sense in Philaldelphi and now Washington may make them pay for it.

75. Dallas - Osa Odighizuwa (DT, UCLA)
Everyone talked about Dallas needing defensive help. First 3 picks have been one lineman, one linebacker and one from the secondary. Dallas is all in on defense.

76. New Orleans - Paulson Adebo (CB, Stanford) Had Adebo come out last year he was likely a first round selection. This is a calculated gamble but there is a lot of upside with Adebo.

**PICK FORFEIT New England Patriots**

77. Los Angeles Chargers - Josh Palmer (WR, Tennessee) Has all the physical attributes you need but wildly inconsistent. To Palmer's defense the quarterback position was a mess at Tennessee.

78. Minnesota - Chazz Surratt (LB, North Carolina) Surratt wins the battle in the Surratt household for who would be drafted first (brother Sage will be drafted out of Wake Forest). Amazing Surratt was regarded so highly after only a few years at linebacker after converting from quarterback.

79. Las Vegas - Malcolm Koonce (LB, Buffalo)
First of consecutive linebackers for Las Vegas. Koonce is a bit of a freelancer but he turns the corner quickly.

80. Las Vegas - Divine Diablo (LB, Virginia Tech) Another linebacker but a different type as Diable is a hybrid type who has the ability to play safety and move around.

81. Miami - Hunter Long (TE, Boston College)
Interesting with Mike Gesicki on the roster. The Dolphins have the weapons for an exciting offense that is young and dynamic. Miami should add a running back soon.

82. Washington - Dyami Brown (WR, North Carolina) Great big play receiver for Washington. Don;t look now but the ACC is catching the SEC in draft pick numbers: SEC-24 ACC-17.

83. Carolina - Tommy Tremble (TE, Notre Dame) There is the tight end pick we had been speculating to Carolina. Carolina takes Tremble over Brevin Jordan as he is a better blocker and does not have the injury concerns.

84. Dallas - Chauncey Golston (DE, Iowa)
Another edge rusher with a long wingspan that can play the run. Dallas draft looking like Carolina's from 2020.

85. Green Bay - Amari Rodgers (WR, Clemson)
Looks like Rodgers could employ the role Ty Montgomery once held in Green Bay as he could line up in the backfield and move around.

86. Minnesota - Wyatt Davis (OG, Ohio State)
Very nice value for the middle of round 3. A little concerned with nagging injuries, left three games due to injury this past season.

87. Pittsburgh - Kendrick Green (OG, Illinois) Pittsburgh finally goes with an offensive line selection. Interesting that Green was announced as a center as he has little experience there.

88. San Francisco - Trey Sermon (LB, Miami)
The 49ers stay with the ground and pound mentality.

89. Houston - Nico Collins (WR, Michigan)
Gigantic target who helps ease the loss of Will Fuller. Houston needs to start looking along the offensive line.

90. Minnesota - Patrick Jones (DE, Pitt)
Score one for the Mock Draft! Just stressed that the Vikings need to draft defensive lineman.

91. Cleveland - Anthony Schwartz (WR, Auburn)
Pure speed as Schwartz is the fastest player in this draft. Schwartz has some wide receiver skills, he is more than just a fast player but he still needs refinement.

92. Tennessee - Monty Rice (LB, Georgia)
Not a fan of this pick as we believe the Titans wind up with 5th round talent in round 3.

93. Buffalo - Spencer Brown (OT, Northern Iowa) Physical specimen who will need to add a little more upper body muscle to his frame. Buffalo may be best served just putting him on the Practice Squad for a year. Brown was garnering a lot of attention, he is a project but this was the time to take him.

94. Baltimore - Ben Cleveland (OG, Georgia)
Cleveland looks game ready and is amazing value at this point in the draft.

95. Tampa Bay - Robert Hainsey (OG, Notre Dame) Hainsey projects as a backup at multiple positions. When you are a defending champion and return all starts you can take a few flyers.

96. New England - Ronnie Perkins (DE, Oklahoma) Took a long time for Perkins to come off the board but this is a typical solid Patriot pick.

97. Los Angeles Chargers - Tre McKitty (TE, Georgia) McKitty has the physical characteristics and is an excellent blocker. Didn't have the stats and is a project.

98. Denver - Quinn Meinerz (OG, Wisconsin-Whitewater) Meinerz went a little later than we were expecting but he is a nasty player that can drive you off the ball.

99. Dallas - Nahshon Wright (CB, Oregon State) Long cornerback who will take some chances but has hands like a receiver.

100. Tennessee - Elijah Moldon (CB, Washington) Another member of the secondary but this makes sense since Caleb Farley is currently injured.

101. Detroit - Ifeatu Melifonwu (CB, Syracuse) Wonderful selection as this is the first pick not along the offensive or defensive line.

102. San Francisco - Ambry Thomas (CB, Michigan) We have been hearing the 49ers would look long and hard at the secondary. With what looks like a run at the position the 49ers join in.

103. Los Angeles Rams - Ernest Jones (LB, South Carolina) Perfect selection and we had mentioned that linebacker seemed to be the biggest area of need for the Rams.

104. Baltimore - Brandon Stephens (CB, SMU)
He is a project but is still learning the position after switching from running back. Played well against tough competition.

105. Denver - Baron Browning (LB, Ohio State) Denver waits patiently and finally delivers with a great linebacker selection.

Round 4 - NFL Mock Draft

106. Jacksonville - Jay Tufele (DT, USC)
107. New York Jets - Michael Carter (RB, North Carolina)
108. Atlanta - Darren Hall (CB, San Diego State)
109. Tennessee - Dez Fitzpatrick (WR, Louisville)
110. Cleveland - James Hudson (OT, Cincinnati)
111. Cincinnati - Cameron Sample (DE, Tulane)
112. Detroit - Amon-Ra St.Brown (WR, USC)
113. Detroit - Derrick Branes (LB, Purdue)
114. Atlanta - Drew Dalman (C, Stanford)
115. Dallas - Jabril Cox (LB, LSU)
116. New York Giants - Elerson Smith (LB, Northern Iowa)
117. Los Angeles Rams - Bobby Brown (DT, Texas A&M)
118. Los Angeles Chargers - Chris Rumph III (LB, Duke)
119. Minnesota - Kene Nwangwu (RB, Iowa State)
120. New England - Rhamondre Stevenson (RB, Oklahoma)
121. Jacksonville - Jordan Smith (DE, UAB)
122. Cincinnati - Tyler Shelvin (DT, LSU)
123. Philadelphia - Zech McPherson (CB, Texas Tech)
124. Washington - John Bates (TE, Boise State)
125. Minnesota - Camryn Bynum (CB, Cal)
126. Carolina - Chuba Hubbard (RB, Oklahoma State)
127. Indianapolis - Kylen Granson (TE, SMU)
128. Pittsburgh - Dan Moore Jr. (OT, Texas A&M)
129. Tampa Bay - Jaelon Darden (WR, North Texas)
130. Los Angeles Rams - Robert Rochell (CB, Central Arkansas)
131. Baltimore - Tylan Wallace (WR, Oklahoma State)
132. Cleveland - Tommy Togiai (DT, Ohio State)
133. New Orleans - Ian Book (QB, Notre Dame)
134. Minnesota - Janarius Robinson (DE, Florida State)
135. Tennessee - Rashad Weaver (DE, Pitt)
136. Arizona - Marco Wilson (CB, Florida)
137. Seattle - Tre Brown (CB, Oklahoma)
138. Dallas - Josh Ball (OT, Marshall)
139. Cincinnati - D'Ante Smith (OG, East Carolina)
140. Pittsburgh - Buddy Johnson (LB, Texas A&M)
141. Los Angeles Rams - Jacob Harris (WR, UCF)
142. Green Bay - Royce Newman (Mississippi)
143. Las Vegas - Tyree Gillespie (S, Missouri)
144. Kansas City - Joshua Kaindoe (DE, Florida State)

149. Cincinnati - Evan McPherson (K, Florida)
150. Philadelphia - Kenneth Gainwell (RB, Memphis)
151. Chicago - Larry Borom (OT, Missouri)
152. Denver - Caden Sterns (S, Texas)
153. Cleveland - Tony Fields II (LB, West Virginia)
154. New York Jets - Michael Carter II (S, Duke)
155. San Francisco - Jaylon Moore (OT, Western Michigan)
156. Pittsburgh - Isaiahh Loudermilk (DE, Wisconsin)
157. Minnesota - Ihmir Smith-Marsette (WR, Iowa)
158. Carolina - Daviyon Nixon (DT, Iowa)
159. Los Angeles Chargers - Breden Jameis (OT, Nebraska)
160. Baltimore - Shaun Wade (CB, Ohio State)
