9-Category Leagues Waiver Wire

Columns are written based on H2H 9-category standard size leagues:

Moses Brown, C - Oklahoma City Thunder

57% rostered - With Al Horford sitting out the rest of the season, the Thunder are going to have a lot of available minutes for Moses Brown in the frontcourt. And if he's still on the waiver wire in your league, WHAT ARE YOU DOING. Over the past four games, Brown is averaging 31.4 minutes per game, with averages of 14.3 points and 16.8 rebounds per game plus 1.3 blocks per contest. Brown has seemingly come out of nowhere to become one of the most exciting post players in the league.

Alec Burks, SG/SF - New York Knicks

53% rostered - Burks has five 20-point games in a row now. While his role will likely be reduced some once Reggie Bullock returns, it's hard to ignore how well Burks has been shooting the basketball. The worst-case scenario here is that he'll play less, but will still be a solid source of three-pointers. The best case is that he'll keep putting up 20-point games.

Jordan Poole, PG/SG - Golden State Warriors

46% rostered - Even with Stephen Curry set to return soon, Poole's strong play is going to ensure he's still a big part of this Warriors rotation. Over the past five games, Poole is playing 34.6 minutes per contest, with 20.4 points, 3.6 assists, and 2.6 threes per game. With Curry back, Poole will likely see less pressure from the defense, opening him up to take -- and make -- a lot of open threes.

Chuma Okeke, PF - Orlando Magic

37% rostered - The Magic look a lot different after the trade deadline, and the first game of the new Magic era saw Okeke play 37 minutes, going 9-for-15 for 22 points, plus adding six rebounds, four assists, and two steals. With Nikola Vucevic, Evan Fournier, and Aaron Gordon all gone, Okeke is going to get a lot of chances to show that he can be a high-usage player in the NBA. Make sure he's on your roster.

Nickeil Alexander-Walker, SG/SF - New Orleans Pelicans

32% rostered - With J.J. Redick no longer in New Orleans, NAW played 31 minutes against Dallas, scoring 20 points on 7-for-17 shooting and also adding five rebounds before fouling out. With the Pelicans looking to get their young players some minutes on the wing, Alexander-Walker should continue to see an increase in usage, making him a solid waiver add.

Talen Horton-Tucker, SG/SF - Los Angeles Lakers

28% rostered - The LeBron James injury has opened up some minutes for Horton-Tucker, who played 32 minutes against Cleveland. He scored 15 points in that one on 6-for-11 shooting, showcasing that he can be a solid fill-in scorer for a Lakers team that's really in need of some scoring with their two best players sidelined. You also get some nice steal upside with Horton-Tucker, though the lack of three-pointers is a bit of an issue.

Malik Monk, PG/SG - Charlotte Hornets

26% rostered - While Monk missed Sunday's game with a foot injury, he had 32 points on 12-for-17 shooting. He's taken double-digit shots in three consecutive games, and after a little bit of a slump in terms of scoring earlier in March, Monk is back where he was for much of February: shooting the ball more and helping fantasy managers who are looking for an affordable source of points.

Khem Birch, PF/C - Orlando Magic

24% rostered - Back to Orlando. Khem Birch also started in the first game of the post-everyone era for the Magic, putting up 14 points on 6-for-15 shooting and pulling down 15 rebounds, plus adding four assists, four steals, and two blocks. Okeke is going to be the scoring threat going forward in Orlando, but Birch should see a lot of minutes at the five for this team, giving him some nice upside. I don't like him as much as Okeke because Birch will lose minutes to Wendell Carter Jr., but Birch will still play a key role going forward.

Daniel Gafford, C - Washington Wizards

9% rostered - Gafford was out of the rotation in Chicago, so a move to Washington is a huge boost for his value His Wizards debut saw Gafford score 13 points on 6-f0r-7 shooting and bring down five rebounds, plus get three blocks. Gafford should see more minutes than the 14 he had in that game, raising his ceiling even more. The other Wizards centers aren't long-term pieces for Washington, so as this team continues to struggle, Gafford will have a decent opportunity to take over as the team's starting five.
