FanDuel DFS Guards

Kevin Porter Jr.

Some may shy away from a player who a week ago was in the G-League, but that would be a mistake as Porter has been a star in the last week. In two games he has a 29.5% usage rate, a crazy 47.7% assist rate and is taking over 25 FGA per game.

With John Wall and Eric Gordon out, there is essentially no one else to take usage away from Porter Jr. It also should not hurt that the Rockets are playing a Boston team that is 21st in defensive rating. Boston is 18th in FG% allowed and allows 36.5% from three-point range.  Lock in Porter in all lineups.

Jaylen Nowell

The loss of Jordan McLaughlin does not on the surface feel like a big change, but it has allowed Nowell to slide into the backup point guard role for the Wolves. He has played 55 minutes over the past two games and put up 68.5 fantasy points.

His last game was very mediocre, but at the minimum salary he was still just short of 7x his salary. He also has the benefit of this being the second end of a back to back, so veteran starter Ricky Rubio may be more limited in terms of minutes than normal. With Portland being in the bottom third of FG% defense and assists allowed, Nowell should have a nice floor tonight

Also consider: Trae Young, Paul George

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Jimmy Butler

With so many standout cheap plays tonight, it will be easy to fit in a stud like Butler. Bam Adebayo is expected to be out tonight, which means all of the usage now goes to Butler. This season when he is on the floor without Adebayo, Butler is posting a monster 56.5 fantasy points per 36 minutes on a 29.8% usage.

The match-up with Orlando is also a big plus as the Magic are struggling all over the floor. The Magic are currently 25th in three-point defense, 23rd in assists allowed, 18th in steals allowed and 18th in blocks allowed. Butler has also been a menace on defense of late with 10 steals over the past three games, plus the threat of a triple-double, he should be a lock tonight.

Kenyon Martin Jr.

Sometimes FanDuel just simply misprices a player. That is certainly the case with Martin Jr. who sits at the stone minimum despite scoring 70 fantasy points over the past two games. With Christian Wood, Danuel House, and PJ Tucker out, Martin is locked into a huge minutes load.

As mentioned, Boston is not a lock down defensive team and Martin has spread his fantasy value across the board the last week. With 24 shot attempts, 19 rebounds and 4 blocks, Martin has a myriad of ways to get to value. This could possibly be the most popular play of he entire year on any DFS slate. He could push upwards of 90% owned tonight.

Also consider: Jayson TatumThaddeus Young

FanDuel DFS Centers

Clint Capela

When Capela is healthy, he is one of the best centers in all of DFS. In games he has played over 30 minutes this year, he is averaging a massive 18.1 points, 16.2 rebounds and 2.9 blocks per game. His match-up tonight is pristine as the Cavs are one of the worst interior defenses in the league.

Cleveland is dead last in the NBA allowing 6.0 blocks per game, is 21st in team rebounding and is 18th in two-point defense. Like Butler, with so many cheap options available today, it will be hard to avoid Capela in this one.

Aron Baynes

If you want a cheap center option, Baynes is your man as he remains under $4k. Due to a poor game last night in which he only played 12 minutes, Baynes is likely to see very little ownership. However, prior to that game, Baynes had played 21+ minutes in three straight, and also went over 21 fantasy points in all three of those.

Chris Boucher should play today, but it is worth noting that he got hit in the face last night and had to receive a few stitches. With the Bulls being 30th in the NBA in two-point defense, Baynes should be able to get to value in a hurry here.

Also consider: Enes Kanter
