Green Bay Packers wide receiver Allen Lazard (core) will not be activated from Injured Reserve to play on Thursday night against the 49ers. Lazard has been working his way back, but the Week 9 game was too quick of a turnaround following his core muscle surgery. The 24-year-old resumed practicing last week and is nearing a return, but it won't be on Thursday night against San Francisco. His next chance to return will come in Week 10 in a nice matchup against the Jaguars. Lazard should return to his role as the No. 2 wideout behind Davante Adams when he's healthy enough to play again. Most fantasy managers have wisely stashed Lazard after he blew up in Week 3 for six catches, 146 yards and a touchdown against the Saints.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
