FanDuel DFS Pitchers

Luis Castillo - P, CIN vs. MIA ($8,700)

Castillo has a fantastic matchup against the Marlins, who have scored only 33 runs and registered a batting average of .235. The 26-year-old righty has thrown the ball well as he has given up just three hits and two runs while striking out 17 batters in 12 2/3 innings of work. He has posted a .075 batting average against, 0.79 WHIP as well as a 1.42 ERA over two starts.

Derek Holland - P, SFG vs. SDP ($6,500)

Holland is one of the cheapest options tonight. The 32-year-old has not been particularly sharp this year, permitting two home runs and walking six in just nine innings in two starts. On the other hand, he has allowed only seven hits and struck out 12 batters. Holland is coming off a five-inning, two run and seven strikeout performance in his last outing against the Dodgers.

Holland is 0-1 versus the Padres this season as he gave up four hits (one home run) and three runs while striking out five and walking two in four innings on March 29. But this game is at home and the 11-year pro fared much better at Oracle Park than on the road last year. San Diego has scored 41 runs, is batting just .235 with a 22.6 K% through its first 11 games.

FanDuel DFS Infielders

Daniel Vogelbach- 1B, SEA at KAN ($3,900)

Vogelbach has terrorized opposing pitchers over his last four appearances, posting a a slash line of .615/ .705/1.923 in 17 plate appearances. Seven of his eight hits during this stretch have been for extra bases which includes five home runs and two doubles. He has also scored six runs and registered nine RBI. The big lefty will face the Royals right-handed starter Jakob Junis, who has yielded a .294 BABIP and 5.40 ERA against right-handed batters this year, tonight.

Kolten Wong- 2B, STL vs. LOS  ($3,500)

The 28-year-old went hitless for just the second time in 11 games this year on Monday night as he was 0-for-3 in a 4-3 Cardinals win over the Dodgers on Monday. Still, Wong has been electricifying at the plate with a .394/ .447/.778 slash line along with eight RBI this year. Six of his 13 hits have been of the extra base variety which includes three home runs, two doubles, and one triple. Additionally, Wong has stolen two bases.

Historically, the seventh year pro has been up and down when playing at Busch Stadium, although he hits for more power at home than on the road.

Freddy Galvis,  SS, TOR at BOS ($2,800)

Galvis is a cheap play. He is off to a smashing start having recorded a hit in nine of his 11 appearances. Five of his 11 hits have been for extra bases with three home runs and six RBIs. The eighth-year pro has not faced Red Sox’s starter Chris Sale, who has gotten off to an uncharacteristically poor start. However, Galvis has shown tremendous improvement against left-handed pitchers the past few years and really fared well against them last year, registering a .295/.323/.455 slash line. If Sale isn't right, Galvis is an intriguing value play.

Jeff McNeil- 3B, NYM vs. MIN ($3,100)

The 27-year-old utility man has gotten off to a hot start this year, recording a hit in five of his eight appearances. He has a slash line of .409/.519/.591 as he has recorded three extra-base hits and drawn two walks. Plus, McNeil is a threat to steal an occasional base.

FanDuel DFS Outfielders

Joey Gallo- OF, TEX vs ARI ($4,600)

Gallo is off to a great start. The 25-year-old is on a three-game home run streak. He also has scored a run and drawn a walk in each of his last five appearances. Overall, the lefty slugger has four home runs and 11 RBI alongside a whopping 1.162 OPS in 38 plate appearances this season. Opponents have hit .317 along with six home runs and scored 10 runs against Greinke this year, and Gallo typically crushes RHP.

Adam Jones- OF, ARI vs. TEX ($3,900)

The 33-year-old had his nine-game hitting streak snapped against the Red Sox on Sunday. He has recorded multiple hits in six of his 10 appearances and 16 overall. Half of his hits of the extra base variety with four being doubles and four home runs. Plus, Jones is still a threat to occasionally steal a base. Jones line of .476 AVG (10-for-21) with .905 SLG, 1.381 OPS, and .571 wOBA against left-handers this year is impressive, so he should do well vs. Mike Minor.

Kevin Pillar - OF, SFG vs. SDP ($2,000)

Pillar is a potential value play for Tuesday's slate. While the 30-year-old has just four hits this year, he has been heating up and is coming off his best game of the year in the Giants 6-5 loss to the Padres on Monday, going 1-for-4 with four RBI (grand slam) and a stolen base -- his second of the campaign. San Diego is starting left-handed Joey Lucchesi, who struggled against right-handed hitters last year. Pillar has also hit left-handers pretty well throughout his career with a slash line of .279/.312/.432.
