New Orleans Pelicans power forward Christian Wood once again took advantage of the pile of minutes he was handed in Thursday’s win over the Sacramento Kings, racking up a career-high 25 points to go along with nine rebounds and three steals across his 28 minutes. With Anthony Davis sidelined, Wood has stepped up since arriving on the scene and delivered a new career high in scoring in back-to-back outings. Should Davis miss Sunday’s contest versus the Los Angeles Lakers as well, owners would be best served to take notice of Wood, who will seemingly have ample opportunities to contribute over the season’s final few weeks.--Jesse Borek
