FanDuel MLB DFS Lineup Picks (6/11/18): Daily Fantasy Baseball Advice

Dan Marcus highlights the top FanDuel MLB DFS lineup picks for 6/11/18.

Tonight features an eight game main slate, which isn't bad for a Monday night. There's not true ace, but Carlos Carrasco checks in as the highest-priced pitcher on the slate and likely cash game chalk. There are numerous GPP possibilities at the position, highlighted by Madison Bumgarner, Jack Flaherty, and Andrew Heaney.

There are also a number of pitchers to target in stacks. The most obvious are the Indians, who have a very favorable matchup against Lucas Giolito. Some other stacks worth considering are the Angels, Cubs, and Toronto (if you're feeling a little dangerous).

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for FanDuel on 6/11/18.  You can also read more DFS lineup picks for DraftKings and other sports too. If you have any questions about Fantasy Baseball, feel free to contact me on Twitter @DanMarcus3.

FanDuel DFS Pitchers

Carlos Carrasco - SP @ CWS ($9,700)

Carrasco is the top-priced pitcher on the slate, and his matchup gives him upside to meet the tag. Although the White Sox have a middle of the road wRC+ against right-handed pitching this season, nearly half of their lineup has a strikeout rate over 25 percent against right handers. That should give Carrasco enough strikeout potential to make it worth rostering him in cash games.

Andrew Heaney - SP @ SEA ($7,900)

Due to the limited games on the slate (and some of the horrendous pitching worth targeting), it may be preferable to pay down at pitching, especially in GPP contests. Heaney has a relatively safe floor of 35 FD points -- he’s hit that mark in five of his past 10 starts -- but doesn’t have the easily accessible ceiling of Carrasco. The one concern is the matchup, as the Mariners are dangerous against LHP.

Jack Flaherty ($7,700) has a superior matchup and a slightly better price tag, but Heaney has been far more consistent with his results which gives him a slight advantage.

FanDuel DFS Infielders

Jefry Marte - 1B @ SEA ($2,400)

The absence of Shohei Ohtani has opened up playing time for Marte against LHP, and he has abused them this season to the tune of a 156 wRC+ and .302 ISO through 45 PA. He’s at a punt price, allowing for some cash for an Indians (or other expensive) stack.

Ian Kinsler - 2B @ SEA ($3,100)

Kinsler has been on an incredible tear of late without seeing his price tag jump to an unreasonable level. He’ll be cash game chalk, and without any standout options at the position, he’s a good one-off play or member of an Angels stack in GPP contests.

Evan Longoria - 3B @ MIA ($2,600)

Longoria is travelling to one of the few parks that doesn't benefit him from a power perspective. However, he’ll get a matchup against left-hander Wei-Yin Chen, who is allowing 2.05 HR/9 to opposing right-handed hitters this season. While Longoria is no longer the same threat at the plate that he used to be, he has managed a .296 ISO against left-handed pitchers this season.

Francisco Lindor - SS @ CWS ($4,400)

The Indians will be a popular stack given their matchup against the dumpster fire that is Lucas Giolito this season. Lindor has been cold of late, but his matchup tonight should give him an opportunity to break out of that slump in a big way. It's worth noting that he is $600 cheaper than Jose Ramirez

FanDuel DFS Outfielders

Ian Happ - OF @ MIL ($2,600)

It’s been a challenging season for Happ, and he is in the midst of a difficult stretch at the plate. However, he’s headed to a park that highlights left-handed power and he has an exploitable matchup against Junior Guerra, who has allowed the highest hard hit-rate among all pitchers on the slate (beside Madison Bumgarner, who has made only one start). Jason Heyward and Kyle Schwarber will likely be popular plays, making Happ a nice pivot in GPP contests.

J.D. Martinez - OF @ BAL($5,500)

Martinez has hit better at home this season, but will get a matchup against the homer prone Dylan Bundy tonight. While the rest of his skills are solid, Bundy has allowed 2.38 HR/9 this season to opposing right-handed batters. There is no one better on the Red Sox to take advantage of a home run prone pitcher than Martinez, so he is a nice cash game option and building block for tonight's slate.
