NBA Daily Fantasy Lineup Picks - FanDuel DFS Basketball Advice for 12/10/15

In this article, I will be providing you with Daily NBA picks for FanDuel for 12/10/15. The picks will range from some of the elite players, to mid-priced options, and value plays.

Tonight features two great match ups in ATL @ OKC and LAC @ CHI, and two not so great match ups in PHI @ BKN and NY @ SAC. However, that latter pair isn't that bad from a fantasy perspective, and that definitely shouldn't deter you from selecting players from those match ups

Good luck and feel free to hit me up on twitter @udontknowziplow with any DFS questions

Fanduel DFS Point Guards

Russel Westbrook (vs ATL, $10,800)

With all the stars available tonight on such a short slate its immensely important you pick the right one. I'll be shaping most of my lineups around Westbrook tonight, as I think he not only has the best individual match up, but has a good chance to be the top scorer of the night.  The pace of this game is going to super fast, which usually means good things for Westbrook DFS owners. O, and the Hawks played late last night in Dallas, and are traveling for the second night of a back to back in Oklahoma city (who were off yesterday).

Dennis Schroder (at OKC, $4,700)

This is a bit of a risky pick, probably only appropriate for large GPP's, but Dennis Schroder will allow you to fit an extra star in your lineup tonight. As I mentioned above, the Hawks are on the second night of a road back to back set of games. When given starters minutes Schroder has proven he can produce great fantasy numbers, and I think tonight he'll see closer to that amount of playing time. Schroder is probably the Hawks best shot to defend Westbrook, and if he can stay out of foul trouble I could see the Hawks running a lot of their dual point guard lineups alongside Jeff Teague. Again, this is a high-risk, high-reward pick, but his ownership is going to be extremely low and could wind up being the difference maker for your roster tonight.

Fanduel DFS Shooting Guards

Jimmy Butler (vs LAC, $8,200)

Butler is an elite DFS option but not exactly priced like one right now. Coming off of a tough loss against Boston last night, the Bulls get to go home and host the Clippers. The star studded front court match ups will surely be the topic of discussion tonight, but I think Butler will be the difference maker and one of the top two DFS scorers in the game (I'll get to the other in a minute). No one on the Clippers can guard Butler on the perimeter,  and although J.J. Redick isn't bad, everyone available after him is (i.e Jamal Crawford, Austin Rivers). If he get's hot from the outside Butler will easily hit 5x or even 6x value.

Kent Bazemore  (at OKC, $5,100)

I was debating including Arron Afflalo in this spot, but he's a bit riskier, and I just couldn't stay away from this match up. Like Dennis Schroder, Bazemore is one of the top perimeter defenders on the Hawks who will be tasked with trying to contain Durant or Westbrook. While that usually doesn't convince me to roster a player,  in Bazemore's case it does, as it could allow him to stay on the court much longer than usual. If he stays out of foul trouble (big if) this will be a big night for Bazemore, who thrives in fast paced games where he can run in transition and create turnovers.

Fanduel DFS Small Forwards

Omri Casspi (vs NY, $4,600)

Another guy that will help you stack the rest of your lineup with studs, Casspi is often overlooked and under priced. Casspi is currently in the Kings starting lineup due to some injuries, and in his first outing in that role scored 37 FD points. Don't overthink this, the Knicks aren't very good at defense, and Casspi has an opportunity to have another huge night.

Robert Covington (at BKN, $6,700)

I don't like to pick 76ers in DFS, but when I do, I pick Bob Covington. He has the capability to produce in all statistical categories, but has been a little inconsistent recently. However, with Rondae Hollis-Jefferson out, the Nets have exactly zero perimeter defenders to keep up with Covington. His minutes have been pretty locked in of late, which is always something to keep an eye on when picking 76ers.  He is a great play that will probably be overlooked tonight with a few big name SF's available.

Fanduel DFS Power Forwards

Thaddeus Young (at PHI, $7,000)

Not only is this a revenge game for Thad Young, but it's against the 76ers. Thad has been on fire recently, scoring over 20 real points and just about 40 FD points the last two games. For some reason, his price has not caught up to his recent performance, so take advantage of the discount while you can. Did I mention he's playing the 76ers?

Kristaps Porzingis (@ SAC, $7,200)

This is a riskier pick than I usually like to make at this price point, but with a short slate and a high ceiling I'm rolling the dice with Porzingis. I'm hoping Coach Fisher doesn't throw Kristaps into the gauntlet that is guarding DeMarcus Cousins, and leaves that responsibility to the more proven post defender in Robin Lopez. If he has to guard Cousins for any stretch of the game, I would be very nervous about early foul trouble, but if he can stay on the court, Kristaps will have a great match up on the other end to rack up FD points.

Fanduel DFS Centers

DeAndre Jordan (vs CHI, $7,500)

This is my pick of the night. I think Jordan has a monster game in Chicago, which features an opponent who likes to play a ton of skilled big men. This will ensure not only that Jordan stays on the floor, but is around the ball all game. I would guess Coach Doc Rivers tasks Jordan with guarding Pau, which is obviously a tough responsibility, but Jordan should be able to use that opportunity to rack up serious DFS numbers. Griffin will likely be out on the perimeter or at the elbow guarding Mirotic or Noah, leaving Jordan to gobble up all the defensive boards and have plenty of block opportunities on help defense.
