There’s only three games on the slate for tonight, making every single selection oh-so-important. A tactic to utilize is that if you are not comfortable with the lineup you have set, take a day off and play tomorrow. For those that will join in the fun for Thursday’s action, jump right in below.

Here are my picks for DraftKings plays for Thursday, November 12, 2015. These picks are intended for cash game and double-up games. As always, make sure to check the lineups before the game to make sure everyone is healthy and not considered a dreaded “DND.”

DraftKings Point Guards

Steph Curry, GS – $10,600

No need for an explanation here. He’s a stud, and he will cost you.

Zach LaVine, MIN - $3,500

For salary cap relief, give LaVine a look. The injury to starter Ricky Rubio lauches LaVine into the starter’s role, and he really is the only option on the bench at the position. He played 36 minutes in his start against the Hornets on Tuesday. There’s no reason to think he cannot play that many minutes again on Thursday against the Warriors. Even if the Warriors win by a thousand points, I do not see playing time to be in doubt for LaVine.

DraftKings Shooting Guards

Eric Bledsoe, PHX - $8,000

You are going to want a lot of players from the Clippers/Suns matchup. The late night matchup in the desert figures to be the highest scoring of the night. Bledsoe has looked every bit the man in the Suns offense. He is the team leader in several per game averages, including points (21.9), assists (6.1), steals (2.1), free throw attempts (6.3) and field goal attempts (17.4). I would’ve been fine with just the points and steals at the shooting guard position. The rest of his numbers are just gravy. Considering the matchups and the remaining options at the two guard for Thursday, there is a strong possibility Bledsoe makes every single one of my lineups.

DraftKings Small Forwards

Harrison Barnes, GSW - $5,200

Last season it was Draymond Green. This season, it appears the Warrior that will take the next step is Barnes. Barnes is averaging a little over 13 PPG in just over 10 shots per game, while seeing his usage rate jump nearly 3.5 percentage points from last season. There is some potential downside. Should the Warriors blow out the Timberwolves, Barnes faces a real threat of losing out on some minutes.

DraftKings Power Forwards

Blake Griffin, LAC - $9,400

No questions about this selection. Griffin is the best option at forward of the night and should be the top overall performer. Despite the guard friendly, up tempo pace that Phoenix likes to run, they are susceptible to getting demolished to imposing big man. Griffin offers value if the Clippers slow the game down or if they run with the Suns and spread the floor. With the short slate of games, it just feels like owners will have to have Griffin in their lineups tonight to be considered for wins.

DraftKings Centers

Gorgui Dieng, MIN - $3,800

This should show you how much I dislike the center options for tonight. Hassan Whiteside and Rudy Gobert, if he plays, will be matching up against each other. DeAndre Jordan and Tyson Chandler each face the real threat of getting mugged to get to the free throw line. And Andrew Bogut will be returning, meaning that he and Festus Ezeli will split time. Conventional wisdom dictates that Karl-Anthony Towns should be the frontrunner at the center position, and perhaps he should. However, I will bank on a Golden State blowout and less minutes for Towns. The injury to Nikola Pekovic throws Dieng in as the second big man off the bench for Minnesota. This is a pick that allows for several big name players, like Curry or Whiteside, to be thrown in to the utility positions.

Hassan Whiteside, MIA - $8,100

If Gobert ends up not playing, Whiteside becomes an automatic start due to the lopsided matchup.
