Quaid Carr, Jayden Limar to Miss Significant Time
Washington running backs Quaid Carr (hand) and Jayden Limar (elbow) are expected to miss significant time after suffering injuries in the Week 1 win over Washington State, according to Roman Tomashoff of HuskiesWire. Carr rushed five times for 28 yards and caught one pass for four yards, while Limar rushed 12 times for 47 yards and a touchdown. In their absence, former Troy, Georgia Tech, and Louisville running back Trey Cooley will likely operate as the lead back in Demond Williams' offense. He handled one carry for four yards on Sunday. Cooley appeared in 33 games before coming to Seattle, rushing 218 times for 1006 yards and six touchdowns. Although he's not the most talented back on the roster, he's now on the college fantasy football radar as the team's RB1.
