We have a massive Friday night slate in MLB, as always. Tonight, we get the Rockies traveling to the Las Vegas Ballpark, with Jacob Misiorowski on the slate. We are going to have to make some early decisions regarding who to play because it is hard to afford both. Let's dig in and find out who looks good tonight.

Jacob Misiorowski, SP - MIL ($12.0K DK/$11.3K FD)
I cannot begin to say enough about Jacob Misiorowski and how talented this kid is. I am the first to say I thought he would take a bit to adjust to the big leagues because of his command, but this kid has been phenomenal this season. He will square off tonight against the Philadelphia Phillies, which is, believe it or not, a great matchup.
Mis has pitched to a 2.21 xFIP, 38.4% K%, 16.6% SwStr%, 0.81 WHIP, and a 0.46 HR/9 this season. He has a 1.95 xFIP, 36.8% K%, and 15.6% over his last 30, so his form is excellent. He has a 38.0% projected K% and 8.83 strikeouts in my model tonight.
The Phillies are a tremendous matchup, as I mentioned above. They are trending in the wrong direction and lead baseball in K% against RHP over the last 30 days. They have a 27.3% K%, .642 OPS, and a 77 wRC+ during that span. Mis may strike out 12 tonight.

Athletics (Model-Projected IRT of 10.0 runs) vs. Zach Agnos
The Athletics will begin their second series at Las Vegas Ballpark tonight, but this time they will face the worst pitching staff in baseball, the Colorado Rockies. They have a 10.0 projected run total in this spot tonight, which in other words means they're breaking my model.
This ballpark surrendered over 20 home runs in the first three games that were played earlier this week, and that was against one of the best pitching staffs in baseball, the Milwaukee Brewers. Now the Rockies come to town, and it doesn't really matter who toes the rubber; they are in trouble.
Zach Agnos is the projected arm that is to receive the bulk of the innings, and he has an 8.21 xFIP, 3.50 WHIP, 6.75 HR/9, 52.6% FB%, and a 73.7% Hard Hit% over his last two outings. The Athletics are the premier stack tonight; do not fade them.

Nick Kurtz, 1B - ATH ($6.0K DK/$4.3K FD)
Nick Kurtz went bonkers in the series against Milwaukee, and now he gets an even better matchup this weekend. It will be approaching 100 degrees at first pitch with a 10+ mph wind blowing out. Kurtz is red hot with a .502 wOBA, .435 ISO, and a 1.239 OPS against RHP over his last 32 ABs.
