Koby's best MLB player prop bets for today (4/26/2026). Bet his home run props (HR props) and win money betting on MLB player props, including Mickey Moniak, Jackson Merrill, and more!
Welcome Back, RotoBallers! We have a great slate of baseball on deck for us that should last us all day! I love morning baseball, especially as someone who lives on the West Coast. Waking up to 10 am baseball is great, and it ends up lasting the majority of the day! We also have a series in Mexico City that is going on, which should give us an opportunity for the long ball.
I've got four spots here on deck for y'all today, including a big game in Mexico City. I have also mentioned a player who is part of the upcoming doubleheader, so make sure you are picking the right game for that one. Remember that home run bets are long shots by nature, so let's keep that bet size smaller, whether you're betting them straight, putting them in a parlay, or utilizing a round robin.
Below you'll read about my favorite home run props from MLB games on Sunday, April 26, 2026. All odds are based on what was available at the time of publishing, so make sure to shop around and see if you can find better odds on other books throughout the day. Now let's get to the picks, already!
MLB Prop Bets - Today's Home Run Prop Picks (4/26/2026)
Mickey Moniak OVER 0.5 Home Runs (TBD)
I'm going to start us off with the late game here. We have a doubleheader going in New York with the Mets game yesterday postponed, which gave us two games today. You must make sure which game you are betting on, as it can make a big difference. The matchup for the Rockies is much better against Kodai Senga in the second game than it is against Nolan McLean in the first game.
Senga has struggled with the long ball early on this season, having given up three home runs to lefties in his first four starts of the season. This has resulted in lefties hitting him for a 3.52 HR/9 as well as some inflated metrics, including a .657 SLG, .286 ISO, 11.5% Barrel%, and a 46.2% HardHit%.
I think the clear best option here is to go with Mickey Moniak, who has crushed righties to start the season. He is already up to seven home runs against RHP, with a 12.2% Barrel% and 43% HardHit%. Moniak has been crushing the ball this season and currently leads his team in average exit velocity across the last five games against RHP at 94 mph!

I do want to mention that Mickey Moniak will be the chalkier option, and that being said, I do think TJ Rumfield is a great option who has been hitting the ball well and has a solid Barrel% as well. He could be a sneaky good option to go yard at longer odds, too.
Jackson Merrill OVER 0.5 Home Runs (+280, DraftKings)
For my next trick, I'll show you a San Diego player in Mexico City at 7,350 feet above sea level! This is going to be a very chalky option, hence why all the odds are pretty low for these guys to go yard. I was genuinely surprised to see only three homers in last night's game in Mexico City, especially with German Marquez on the mound.
I think this one is going to be a bit different, though. Ryne Nelson has been one of the best pitchers to attack early on this year. The lefties have done him in quite a bit already, pushing his HR/9 to 2.25. He has given up three home runs to lefties so far this year, with his Barrel% at 13.2% and a HardHit% of 50%!
The big choice came down to either Jackson Merrill at +280 or Gavin Sheets at +350. I decided on Jackson Merrill as he slightly hits the Four-Seamer better, which is where all three of Nelson's home runs have come off. Merrill has two of his three home runs off righties this season come off the four-seamer, but that's mainly because he has seen the pitch more than the other four pitches combined.
This season, Merrill has a 14.8% Barrel% and 46% HardHit% against RHP. The weather is balmy, 82 degrees, and with the elevation being as high as it is. I do not doubt that the balls are going to be flying here, and we should take advantage of it while we can!
