MLB DFS Picks for 4/8/26: Daily Fantasy Baseball Strategy and Tips For FanDuel, DraftKings

Ezequiel Tovar - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, Draft Sleepers, MLB Injury News

Casey Wilson's top DraftKings and FanDuel MLB DFS picks for today, Wednesday, 4/8/26. His favorite daily fantasy baseball lineup sleepers and value picks for DFS on DraftKings and FanDuel.

We have day baseball on the docket with a massive slate of games. Once again, the different sites can never be on the same page, as DraftKings has one big 10-game slate, while FanDuel has two separate five- and six-game slates. Today’s article will focus on DraftKings main slate and the two early split slates for FanDuel.

The weather on the East Coast is still chilly, so we need to understand how that affects hitting. Thankfully, you don't have to figure any of that out as my model has everything built in one to help us project IRT. We will reference some of this in today's article.

This article will provide my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 4/8/2026, with the slate starting at 1:10 p.m. ET on DraftKings and two separate slates, one starting at 12:35 p.m. ET and one starting at 3:07 p.m. ET on FanDuel. The lineup picks will showcase elite players, mid-priced options, and value plays. You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for other sports here. Monitoring injury news and today's MLB starting lineups is always essential.

DraftKings, FanDuel - MLB DFS Top Pitcher

Kyle Bradish, SP - BAL ($8.5K DK/$9.2K FD Very Early Only)

Kyle Bradish gets a great matchup this afternoon with the Chicago White Sox in great pitching conditions. It will be in the mid-50s with a heavy 15+ mph wind blowing in at first pitch today at Rate Field.

Bradish has had his ups and downs this season after a tremendous 2025. He has a 4.38 xFIP, 26.3% K%, 13.4% SwStr%, 1.62 WHIP, and a 40.9% FB%. This is after posting a 2.67 xFIP, 37.3% K%, 14.6% SwStr%, and a 1.03 WHIP in 2025. The command has been a bit of an issue, but I am willing to take a shot here against this White Sox team, as his 2026 SwStr% suggests we should see some positive regression with strikeouts soon.

The White Sox have a 27.7% K% and a .593 OPS against RHP this season, with a 73 wRC+. They have struggled mightily, and this is the perfect bounce-back spot for Bradish at a cheap price tag because of his recent form. My model loves this spot for him, projecting a 29.6% K%, and the White Sox have a projected 2.9 IRT.

DraftKings, FanDuel - MLB DFS Top Stack

St. Louis Cardinals (Model Projected IRT (Implied Run Total)- 5.3) vs. Miles Mikolas

Miles Mikolas will get the opportunity to pitch against his old team today in Nationals Park. There will be decent weather for this game on the East Coast today, with temperatures in the mid-50s and a wind blowing out to left field.

Mikolas in 2026 has been as bad as any pitcher. He has a 5.71 xFIP, 8.2% SwStr%, 2.25 WHIP, 4.82 HR/9, 52.6% FB%, and a 34.2% Hard Hit%. The Cardinals have a .619 OPS and a 79 wRC+ against RHP this season, which is nothing to write home about, but we are focusing on the matchup with Mikolas more than anything in this spot.

Favorite Stack: Jordan Walker, JJ Wetherholt, Alec Burleson, Nolan Gorman, Ivan Herrera

DraftKings, FanDuel - MLB DFS Top Hitter

Ezequiel Tovar, SS - COL ($4.2K DK/$3.2K FD Early Only)

Ezequiel Tovar was moved to the three-hole last night, and I hope we get him in the same spot today. He gets an elite matchup with Cristian Javier, who has shown reverse splits his entire career, but this year RHH have a .778 SLG, 29.4% Brl%, and a 47.1% Hard Hit% against him. Tovar has been consistent and is a great target in the right matchup. He is slashing .278/.297/.417 with a .714 OPS this season. He is too cheap for Coors Field and this matchup with Javier.
