Casey Wilson's top DraftKings and FanDuel MLB DFS picks for today, Monday, 4/6/26. His favorite daily fantasy baseball lineup sleepers and value picks for DFS on DraftKings and FanDuel.
We have a seven-game Monday night slate on both sites tonight. I have built a new format in my model for Projected Implied Run Totals. This will be an easy way to compare our old stack grades to Vegas implied run totals. When you see me reference those today, they are the same as the old stack grades, but now in an easier, more relatable format.
We have a Coors slate, which makes things even more difficult to navigate after what the Astros did this weekend in Sacramento, lighting up the scoreboard. Our lineup decisions tonight need to start with whether to play Coors, and unfortunately, that is the decision that will win or lose us tonight's slate.
This article will provide my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 4/6/2026, with the slate starting at 7:07 p.m. ET. The lineup picks will showcase elite players, mid-priced options, and value plays. You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for other sports here. Monitoring injury news and today's MLB starting lineups is always essential.
DraftKings, FanDuel - MLB DFS Top Pitcher
Jacob deGrom, SP - TEX ($9.0K DK/$10.4K FD)
Of the three studs on tonight's slate, Jacob deGrom is going to be my preferred option to try to get in lineups. He is the cheapest of the three on DraftKings and has the best form.
In 2026, deGrom has a 2.28 xFIP, 35.0% K%, 16.5% SwStr%, and a 1.29 WHIP. This is after pitching to a 3.37 xFIP, 27.7% K%, 14.3% SwStr%, and a 0.92 WHIP in 2025. The Mariners do have a 4.5 projected implied run total in my model tonight, but that is mainly because it is factoring in a high percentage of their 2025 form.
In 2026, the Mariners have a 28.6% K%, .661 OPS, and a 96 wRC+ against RHP. In 2025, they had a 22.7% K%, .746 OPS, and a 114 wRC+ against the split. I am going to buy into the 2026 form a bit more here and slam Jacob deGrom as my SP1 on DraftKings.

Los Angeles Dodgers (Model Projected IRT (Implied Run Total)- 5.6) vs. Max Scherzer
We get a World Series rematch this week between the Dodgers and the Blue Jays, and I cannot wait for this one. My models love the Dodgers in this one with a 5.6 projected IRT, a number that's almost a full run higher than the Vegas projected total.
The Dodgers have been red hot against RHP in 2026. They have a .879 OPS and a 152 wRC+ against the split. This is after posting a .769 OPS and a 114 wRC+ in 2025.
Mad Max is still as consistent as you can be in the right matchup, but I see him struggling big time here today. In 2025, he pitched to a 4.55 xFIP, 1.29 WHIP, 2.01 HR/9, 54.2% FB%, and a 36.3% Hard Hit. My model loves this spot because he allows a lot of hard contact in the air, and against this Dodgers team, that is not a good recipe for success.
Favorite Stack: Shohei Ohtani, Freddie Freeman, Kyle Tucker, Max Muncy, Will Smith, Teoscar Hernandez, Alex Freeland
DraftKings, FanDuel - MLB DFS Top Hitter
Adley Rutschman, C - BAL ($3.9K DK/$2.6K FD)
Adley Rutschman is my top bat on tonight's slate. He gets a great matchup with Erick Fedde, who allowed a .310 wOBA, .527 SLG, 8.1% Brl%, and a 43.1% Hard Hit% against LHH in 2025. Rutschman is red hot to start 2026, slashing .429/.529/.643 with a 1.172 OPS. He also has the opportunity to miss Grant Taylor in the first inning because of his lineup position.
