Today's free NBA DFS picks for DraftKings, FanDuel (March 20th, 2026). Max's daily fantasy basketball lineups, values, stacks, pivots, sleepers for NBA DFS.
Welcome back, RotoBallers! Tonight, we have a six-game NBA DFS slate. Note that DraftKings is not including the Raptors at Nuggets game on the main slate. For this article, I will only feature players in games on both sites. Whichever site you're playing on, there are plenty of good DFS fantasy basketball options to consider. These articles focus on the best overall plays, which are typically more suited to cash games. However, some exceptions may apply, depending on the size of the slate.
As always, watching the injury report updates will be critical to finalizing your strategy. Some big names, such as Cade Cunningham, Anthony Edwards, and Josh Hart, are already confirmed out. There are many more players out, and there will undoubtedly be players who pop up on the injury report tomorrow, or even get ruled out, so keep a close eye on the NBA injury news and make adjustments as needed.
This article will provide you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 3/20/26. NBA DFS Core Picks
Jalen Johnson, ATL - PF on DK, SF/PF on FD
- DraftKings: $10.6K
- FanDuel: $11K
After leading Atlanta to its 10th straight win, Johnson and the Hawks find themselves above the play-in cutoff for the first time this season. Getting number 11 in a row might be a tough ordeal, as the Hawks travel to H-Town to face the Rockets and their stingy defense.
Matchup be damned, Johnson looks to be another excellent play in cash games tonight. During the Hawks' winning streak, Johnson is averaging 22.3/9.6/8.7, which comes out to 51.4 fantasy PPG (these averages exclude the Hawks' win against the Wizards on 2/24, in which he exited after only six minutes). Johnson is in a tier of his own in terms of floor/ceiling combo with all of the injuries tonight, making him a cornerstone of cash lineups.
Jalen Brunson, NYK - PG
- DraftKings: $9.5K
- FanDuel: $9.4K
Brunson is having a strong finish to the season, averaging 23.8/3.6/9.8 and 1 steal per game, good for a 45.3 fantasy PPG average through nine games this month. Funnily enough, in the 13 games he's played without Hart this year, Brunson is averaging exactly 45.3 fantasy PPG, up from his season average of 41.7.
Brunson has cleared his monthly average in his last four games in a row, and he rested on Wednesday, giving him a full four days of rest since his last game. As we all know by now, the Nets are as bad defensively as any team in the NBA, ranking in the bottom 3-5 in basically every defensive metric that's tracked.
Jalen Brunson led the charge in New York's largest comeback of the season, a 21-point turnaround 🔥

Without Hart active tonight, Brunson is head and shoulders above the rest of the options at PG. While there are definitely concerns of a blowout in this game (Knicks are -18 at the time of writing), Brunson is 13th in the NBA in minutes per game, and we've seen plenty of stars put up healthy box scores against the Nets in blowout scenarios.
