5 Fantasy Football Bold Predictions - Frank Ammirante's Week 15 Picks

Chris Rodriguez Jr. - Fantasy Football Rankings, Running Back Sleepers, RB Handcuffs

Frank Ammirante's five fantasy football bold predictions for Week 15 of the 2025 NFL season. Expert predictions for Brock Purdy, Woody Marks, Chris Rodriguez Jr, Jauan Jennings, and Tyler Warren.

It's time for the first week of the fantasy playoffs. It's do-or-die time, where every move counts.

That's where my Week 15 bold predictions come in. I'm looking for players who can provide you with spike weeks, putting your team over the top.

With that in mind, find out why Brock Purdy, Woody Marks, Chris Rodriguez Jr., Jauan Jennings, and Tyler Warren are in my Week 15 bold predictions.

Brock Purdy Finishes as a Top-5 QB

Purdy is set for a smash spot at home against the Titans. Tennessee ranks 29th in fantasy points per game allowed to quarterbacks in the last four weeks.

Just take a look at what opposing quarterbacks have done to this defense lately:

This is a big game for the 49ers, as they're trying to stay in the NFC wild-card race. While Purdy's numbers have been down in what's been an injury-plagued season, there's a good chance that the Week 14 bye came at the perfect time for the 49ers signal-caller.

I'm betting that Purdy will look rejuvenated in time to pick apart this vulnerable Titans defense.

The 49ers have a 28.5-point implied total, which is the second-highest on the Week 15 slate. There's a legit chance that the 49ers pour on points in a blowout victory here.

Considering these circumstances, you need to make sure that Purdy is in your lineup this week. Personally, I'm firing him up over Jaxson Dart in one of my leagues.

Woody Marks Finishes as a Top-12 RB

Marks has been quite inefficient for the Texans, but you have to love the matchup against the Cardinals. Take a look at what opposing running backs have done against this defense lately:

This sets up as a smash spot for Marks. Not only are the Cardinals struggling to defend the run, but this is a projected positive game script with the Texans as double-digit home favorites. With Houston expected to control this game, that means they're likely to play with a lead, which would result in more rushing volume.

On top of that, Nick Chubb is still banged up after leaving early in the Texans' Week 14 win over the Chiefs. In that matchup, Marks had 26 carries. If Chubb misses Week 15 (which looks likely), we can expect Marks to continue to serve as the bellcow in this offense.

The Texans have a 26-point implied total this week, which ranks seventh on the slate. With that in mind, there's a good chance that Marks will find the end zone this game, especially with such a heavy role. You're going to want him in your lineup this week.

Chris Rodriguez Jr. Finishes as a Top-15 RB

Rodriguez has become the lead back in the Commanders committee, surpassing Jacory Croskey-Merritt for a larger role. This is a power back who has scored a touchdown in three of his last five games. Week 15 looks like a terrific spot for Rodriguez to have an efficient game.

That's because it's a great matchup against the Giants, who are allowing the most fantasy points per game to running backs this season.

Weather forecasts suggest frigid weather in this NFC East divisional game, which means that we can expect a run-heavy gameplan from the Commanders.

Even with Jayden Daniels out for this matchup, Marcus Mariota has proven himself as a competent backup who can keep the offense on schedule.

Don't be surprised if the Commanders win this game, with Rodriguez leading the charge with 75+ rushing yards and a touchdown. Let's just hope that they don't fall behind in this one because that would mean that Jeremy McNichols would get more involved than usual.

Jauan Jennings Finishes as a Top-15 WR

Jennings is a terrific partner to pair with Purdy, as the 49ers should blow the doors off the Titans this week as they come off their bye. Not surprisingly, given their struggles against quarterbacks lately, the Titans are also having a tough time against wideouts, ranking 25th against them in the last four weeks.

The 49ers' veteran wideout has been pretty consistent lately, averaging 13.9 fantasy points per game since Week 9, which ranks as WR21 during that stretch. Jennings has racked up 28 targets in his last four games, which is exactly the type of volume that you want to see.

While teammate Ricky Pearsall is an intriguing option here as well, he's been much less productive than Jennings, making the latter the much safer play in this spot.

Considering the terrific matchup for the 49ers here, there's likely to be multiple pass-catchers who make a major impact in this spot. That makes Jennings look like an appealing WR3 with high-end upside and a strong floor in this matchup.

Tyler Warren Finishes as a Top-3 TE

I came into Week 15 looking to bench Warren with Daniel Jones out for the season. After all, it's hard to rely on a rookie like Riley Leonard, especially against an elite Seahawks defense.

However, that all changed when Philip Rivers shockingly announced that he's coming out of retirement. The Colts are expected to start Rivers right away. This is a veteran pocket-passer who knows Shane Steichen's offense well, so I'm betting that he can at least keep the offense afloat here.

We all know about the chemistry that Rivers had with his tight end, Antonio Gates, back in his time with the Chargers. To that end, it wouldn't shock me to establish immediate rapport with Warren.

Yes, the Seahawks defense could have a statuesque quarterback like Rivers under constant duress here, but this is a quick processor who can get the ball out before the rush gets home. That's where Warren comes in.

On top of that, we have to acknowledge that the Seahawks have struggled defending tight ends this season. This is a defense that ranks 23rd in fantasy points per game allowed to tight ends. We just saw Kyle Pitts put up six catches for 90 yards vs this defense. Don't be surprised if Warren similarly has a big game.
