Who Should I Start for Fantasy Football Week 13? Devin Neal, Kenneth Gainwell, Quinshon Judkins, Aaron Jones Sr., Sean Tucker, Kimani Vidal, Zach Charbonnet, Rachaad White, Jordan Mason, Chuba Hubbard

New Orleans Saints running back Devin Neal (ankle) was a limited participant during Wednesday's practice session. Neal took over as the lead back for the final three quarters after Alvin Kamara (knee) exited early during Sunday's game. Neal looks like he picked up a minor ankle injury along the way. The fact that he was limited suggests that Neal is on track to play against the Miami Dolphins in Week 13.

He rushed the ball seven times for 18 yards, while hauling in five receptions for 43 yards in the loss. Kamara is trending in the wrong direction right now, so Neal could take over as the lead back this weekend and would be a viable RB2 in all standard leagues.

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Kenneth Gainwell delivered another productive performance in Week 12 against the Chicago Bears, posting 10 carries for 92 yards while adding six receptions (six targets) for 30 yards. Gainwell's receiving workload in recent weeks has made him a viable fantasy option in PPR leagues.

It's also been a consistent part of the former Philadelphia Eagle's scoring profile on the season, with four games of at least six receptions, tied with Bijan Robinson for the third most by a running back this season and only trailing De'Von Achane (five games) and Christian McCaffrey (nine).

The Pittsburgh backfield has essentially been an even split between Jaylen Warren and Gainwell over the past three weeks. Gainwell holds a slight edge in snap share at 54.7% compared to Warren's 41.9%, though it's worth noting Warren left Week 11 early with an ankle injury. Gainwell has maintained his role in the passing game and could be the preferred option moving forward between the two.

Los Angeles Chargers running back Kimani Vidal has been the Chargers' primary running back while Omarion Hampton (ankle) has been working his way back from an ankle injury he suffered in Week 5. Recent reports have suggested that Hampton has been limited in practice all week and is expected to return to the lineup. The Chargers have until Saturday afternoon to activate Hampton from the IR, and that may determine the fate of second-year running back Vidal, out of Troy University, and whether he remains fantasy relevant or not.

Once healthy, Hampton figures to handle a majority of the workload, as the rookie running back out of North Carolina has rushed for 314 yards and two touchdowns while catching 20 passes for 136 yards over five games this season and is clearly the better back from a skill-set standpoint, which is why the Chargers spent a first-round draft pick on him in the 2025 NFL Draft. Vidal has stepped in and has been productive in Hampton's absence, with 417 rushing yards, 52 receiving yards, and three touchdowns, and is deserving of earning a portion of the running back touches even with Hampton healthy.

The question is whether that amount of touches is enough to remain fantasy-relevant or not. Fantasy managers should hold onto Vidal for another week or two and see how things play out while Hampton ramps up.

Cleveland Browns rookie running back Quinshon Judkins averaged a paltry 2.9 yards per carry and had 47 rushing yards on 16 carries in the 24-10 win over the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday, but he saved his day for fantasy managers by scoring twice on the ground in the first half in Week 12. The 22-year-old was not targeted in the passing game and has not caught a pass in the last two games.

Judkins also suffered a head injury in the fourth quarter and was sent to the medical tent, but he was cleared before the end of the contest. The Ohio State product's head injury allowed Dylan Sampson to get some run late in the contest, and he took advantage of it by ripping off a 66-yard touchdown catch. Judkins hasn't been very efficient on the ground in the last three games, but as long as he's healthy enough to play in Week 13 against the San Francisco 49ers, where he'll remain an RB2 play in fantasy football.
