Week 13 Kicker Streamers and Starts - 2025 Fantasy Tiers, Rankings

Jason Myers - Fantasy Football Rankings, Kicker Streamers, Waiver Wire Pickups

Kacey Kasem looks at all 2025 fantasy football Week 13 kickers -- streamers, starts, sits, targets, avoids, and waiver wire pickups. Our Week 13 rankings and tiers for all of the NFL kickers.

Time to kick it for another installment of the fantasy football kicker streamers, rankings, and starts for Week 13 of the 2025 NFL season. Something I've been waiting to write for a while: no teams are on bye this week! That means we finally get a full pool of kickers to choose from for Week 13. Hopefully, that's a positive for those who have been relying on the waiver wire for streaming purposes.

There are plenty of streaming options available in most leagues, including some set-and-forget guys who really shouldn't be on waivers this late in the season. There are also a number of kickers who deserve a spot on the bench. Some of those kickers are stuck on bad offenses that don't get into scoring position, while others draw matchups that don't create field goal attempts. Some are just too inconsistent to trust when every fantasy win matters.

With many teams fighting for a playoff spot, finding the perfect kicker for Week 13 is a priority. A clean game from your kicker can be the difference between staying alive and dropping out of the playoffs. Here are the guys I feel confident rolling with this Thanksgiving week, along with a few to steer clear of.

Editor's Note: The FFPC Playoff Challenge is back with a massive $500,000 grand prize and $1.35 million total prize pool, paying down to 800th place. Here's the deal: no salary cap, no draft, no pickups, no subs. Choose 10 players, and as NFL teams get knocked out so will your players, so choose your team wisely. The 7,250 entries will sell out quickly, and registrations will close on Saturday January 10th at 4:30 pm ET . Don't wait - get your team now and end your fantasy football season with a shot at $500,000! Sign Up Now!

Kicker Streamers to Target for Week 13

Only kickers rostered in fewer than 60% of fantasy football leagues are considered streamers.

Ka'imi Fairbairn (HOU) at Indianapolis Colts
36% Rostered

He's here again, and honestly, Fairbairn is still underrostered for this late in the season. He missed a couple of contests with a right quadriceps injury but was back in action for Week 12. The kicker looked as accurate as ever, going 3-for-3 on field goals and knocking in both extra points in Houston's 23-19 victory over the Bills.

Fairbairn is one of the most accurate kickers in the league. He's hit on 25-of-28 field goals and is perfect on extra points. Additionally, he's connected on five kicks from 50-plus this year. Managers can't ask for much more in a guy they acquired from the waiver wire.

What makes Fairbairn a great play in Week 13 is that he's so consistent and will be going up against an AFC South rival in the Colts. The game takes place indoors, which is highly important as the weather becomes a factor as the season progresses.

Houston's defense has been one of the stingiest in the NFL, which has only benefited the kicker. The offense moves the ball, but they're not automatic in the red zone. That sets Fairbairn up nicely, as displayed by multiple field goal tries in six straight contests he's played.

The Colts have fared well against kickers, but this contest looks to be a mid-40s total and a close spread. C.J. Stroud could be back in this one (currently in concussion protocol), directing drives that set up a steady stream of kicks. He'll still register good volume if Davis Mills gets the start. Go pick up Fairbairn and confidently play him.

Andy Borregales (NE) vs. New York Giants
17% Rostered

Putting up one good game after another, Borregales has been a kicker worth trusting all season. Last week, he connected on all four field goal attempts while tacking on two extra points. He even hit a late 52-yarder that sealed the win over the Bengals.

Borregales posted 14 of New England's 28 points, with head coach Mike Vrabel singling him out postgame with a "that's the way to your job" comment. You can't ask for much more out of your rookie.

Week 13 shapes up nicely for the kicker. The Patriots are 10-2 this season, taking on a 2-10 Giants' squad. New York just fired their defensive coordinator as the defense has struggled all year. New England should be in scoring position throughout the game, and Borregales' role gives him one of the safest floors for the week.

There's a projected total in this contest of around 46.5-47.5 points. New England won't hesitate to take the points when drives stall. Add in that they're playing at home, and you're getting a kicker with an outstanding outlook for the week. It should be a busy day for Borregales, with 10+ fantasy points on the horizon.

Wil Lutz (DEN) at Washington Commanders
14% Rostered

Denver just secured their kicker to a three-year contract extension through 2028 because it knows a special-teams weapon when it sees one. Fantasy managers should take note. Lutz has been lights out this season, knocking in 17-of-20 field goals and all 24 extra point tries.

He is fresh off a 5-for-5 performance (and an extra point) in the Broncos' win over the Chiefs back in Week 11. Lutz was honored as the AFC Special Teams Player of the Week after his brilliant showing. Week 12 was a bye for the kicker, meaning he might be available on waivers in your league.

Denver's offense hasn't been explosive, but the team does move the ball well enough. When they end up stalling, Sean Payton is comfortable letting Lutz finish the drive with his leg, and this is part of the reason the Broncos are on an eight-game win streak.

This week's matchup with Washington only adds to the kicker's appeal. Washington has allowed 22-of-24 field goals against them this year, making them an extremely kicker-friendly team to face. The Commanders are 3-8, on a six-game losing streak, and starting Marcus Mariota in Jayden Daniels' absence.

Lutz should attempt multiple kicks on Sunday Night Football. Denver's conservative play style, combined with Washington's tendency to give up scoring drives, is a recipe for success. It won't be a shootout, which is ideal for kickers, and he should have an abundance of chances to put up points in this one.

Kickers to Avoid for Week 13

Joey Slye (TEN) vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
3% Rostered

Tennessee's kicker made a field goal and all three extra point attempts last week, but that was an exception for Slye more than anything. Tennessee has one of the worst offenses in the league, and Slye's performance this year reflects that.

The Virginia Tech alum gets occasional volume, but he rarely attempts extra points. The offense struggles to sustain drives, completely tanking Slye's value. He's 20-of-25 on field goals and 13-of-14 on extra points through ten contests. Not awful, but not a kicker you feel confident starting.

The matchup with the Jaguars really hurts him in Week 13. Jacksonville allows just 1.3 field goal attempts per contest, one of the lowest marks in the league. They either give up touchdowns or get full stops before teams reach field goal range, and neither of those situations sets up well for a kicker.

Jacksonville has been "anti-kicker" all season, allowing the second-fewest fantasy points to the position. With an implied low total in this game and an inconsistent offense, it's easy to see a path where Slye attempts one kick. He continues to be a situational play, and this is not the situation to start him. There is better volume available on the waiver wire.

Chad Ryland (ARI) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
4% Rostered

Ryland has been fine this year, but this week provides us with stronger waiver wire options. Last week, the 26-year-old went 1-for-2 on field goals, missing a 33-yard attempt in a game the Cardinals lost by three.

It's his second straight week without multiple makes, and he's 17-of-21 on field goals this season, converting on all extra points. His performance has been bland overall.

This week's matchup isn't exactly helping Ryland out. Tampa Bay allows right around the league-average field goal volume. It's a middle-of-the-road situation this week. Basically, you're relying on Arizona's offense to move the ball consistently, and that's never a given with this team.

He's a fine play if you're absolutely stuck, but he should be left on waivers if you can avoid it. Any of the streaming options listed earlier would be better spot starts for the week.

Daniel Carlson (LV) at Los Angeles Chargers
15% Rostered

Carlson has been a great kicker in the past, but unfortunately, he plays for a team that holds him back. He went 1-for-2 on field goals last week while connecting on his lone extra point. Same story, different week for the veteran kicker.

The Raiders offense is a mess, sitting at 2-9 and posting just 15 points per game. They just let go of offensive coordinator Chip Kelly after conceding 10 sacks and scoring just 10 points against the Browns. The team can barely cross midfield, let alone get into kicking range.

The kicker has been mediocre as well, hitting on 76.2% of his field goals this year. Now, he'll face the Chargers, a team that allows slightly above-average field goal volume (mostly against functional offenses). The Raiders are anything but functional.

If Las Vegas falls behind early, which is highly likely, they'll end up going for it on 4th-downs instead of settling for three. His production never really gets going in this offense, so it's a good week to pivot from (or drop) Carlson.
