Fantasy Football Matchup Outlooks

Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 11:

Derrick Henry, RB, Baltimore Ravens

Baltimore Ravens running back Derrick Henry has yet another tough matchup ahead of him in Week 11 after registering a low-end RB2 finish in Week 10 against the Minnesota Vikings.

The veteran goes up against the Cleveland Browns for the second time this season after registering just two fantasy points in half-PPR leagues the first time these two met. Throughout the season, the Browns are the fourth-toughest defense against backfields and have only allowed three touchdowns on the ground all season.

They give up just 16.79 fantasy points per game to the whole backfield. While Henry could always break off a big play, he's projected as a high-end RB2 this week.

Rashee Rice, WR, Kansas City Chiefs

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice will take on the Denver Broncos in Week 11. Rice returned from suspension in Week 7 and has been nothing short of spectacular for fantasy since. The 25-year-old stepped back into his WR1 role, earning 26 targets and scoring four touchdowns in three games heading into the team's Week 10 bye.

With only a three-game sample size, Rice has the most points per game among wide receivers this season. Despite his incredible start, Rice will have to contend with Denver this week. The Broncos defense is the toughest matchup for wide receivers this season, allowing the fewest fantasy points per game to the position.

Rice will need to link up with Patrick Mahomes often and in the red zone to manage a strong fantasy performance. Rice is ranked WR6 in our RotoBaller Half-PPR rankings, making him a must-start WR1 despite facing the toughest matchup for receivers this season.

Kyren Williams, Justin Jefferson, James Cook,

Saquon Barkley, RB, Philadelphia Eagles

Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley has gone without a rushing touchdown in four of his last five games after Monday's 10-7 victory over the Packers. For a low-scoring game, however, Barkley did manage a decent fantasy outing with three catches for 41 yards and matched his season-high carry count with 22.

On Sunday, he is faced with a Lions defense that allows the second-least amount of fantasy points to RBs this season, giving up just seven scores on the ground through nine games. In a game where the Eagles may need to play catch-up against a powerful Detroit offense, Barkley could also be in for less attempts if Philly has to rely on the passing game.

While it's an uphill battle, he is the type of player that can dominate a game in any given week. Start Barkley as a solid RB1, but temper expectations ever so slightly.

Drake London, WR, Atlanta Falcons

Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Drake London (illness, back) is questionable for Sunday's divisional matchup with the Panthers after missing Wednesday's practice with an illness and then returning as a limited participant on Thursday with an additional back ailment.

London has been on a tear of late, topping 100 yards in each of his last two games while finding the endzone four times over that span. Should he miss Sunday's game, receiver Darnell Mooney and tight end Kyle Pitts are the most likely candidates to see an uptick in targets. However, neither has demonstrated a strong connection with second-year quarterback Michael Penix Jr. to this point.

The Falcons play in Sunday's early window of games, giving fantasy managers a chance to at least monitor London's gameday status and pivot if necessary.

Justin Jefferson, WR, Minnesota Vikings

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson is yet again a WR1 when the Vikings play host to the Chicago Bears in Week 11. The superstar has been quieter than normal during the past month as backup quarterback Carson Wentz and second-year starter J.J. McCarthy lead the charge for an up-and-down offense, but Jefferson still has been earning a ton of targets.

McCarthy has targeted Jefferson 21 times in the past two weeks but only connected on 10, though the pair collaborated for a tide-turning touchdown in the first meeting against Chicago that sparked a fourth-quarter comeback. The Bears rank 24th against PPR receivers, offering a chance for Jefferson to break his cold streak.

The Vikings likely will be erratic as they break in a 22-year-old QB, but the matchup and Jefferson's ability should have the superstar locked into lineups in all formats.

Improvements For Who Should I Start? You may have noticed that our 'Who Should I Start?' tool has gotten an overhaul. How It Works. Each week our RotoBaller staff puts together their weekly fantasy football rankings and projections based on their research. If someone is out for the week, they will not appear in the search results.

Scoring Formats. Fantasy football managers play in various types of leagues, and this tool allows you to choose whether it's PPR scoring, Half-PPR scoring, or Standard (Non-PPR) scoring. The second thing you want to do, is to select the scoring format. There are three small radio buttons (small circle), so click on the scoring format you prefer. The results may vary based on the scoring format you select.
