Chase Brown, Quinshon Judkins, J.K. Dobbins: Start ‘Em, Sit ‘Em Picks for Fantasy Football Week 6

Chase Brown - Fantasy Football Rankings, Waiver Wire Pickups, Draft Sleepers

Should I start Chase Brown, Quinshon Judkins, J.K. Dobbins for Week 6? Fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks and recommendations for the 2025 NFL season.

We have officially entered one of the most difficult stretches of the fantasy season. Not only are fantasy managers working to navigate their way through injuries, but bye weeks are also taking players that we rely on out of our lineups.

Thankfully, we have gone from four teams on bye in Week 5 to just two in Week 6. Unfortunately, given the injuries at running back, that still leaves many scrambling for players who can work their way into fantasy lineups across all league formats.

Three running backs that fantasy managers are trying to figure out in Week 6 are Quinshon Judkins, Chase Brown, and J.K. Dobbins. Should they be starting or sitting in Week 6? Read below to find out.

Should I Start Quinshon Judkins for Fantasy Football?

Judkins has been stellar since joining the Cleveland Browns’ backfield in Week 2. The 2025 second-round pick has been the RB15 in PPR scoring (15.5 points per game) with three straight games of at least 10.0 points per game. He has two top 12 finishes in his first four games in the NFL.

Over the last three games, Judkins has taken over most of the backfield’s production. He has three straight games with a 50+% snap share. He’s averaging 20.7 carries and 95.3 rushing yards and two touchdowns per game during that time. Judkins doesn’t offer much as a pass catcher (eight targets, six receptions, and 52 receiving yards), but he’s getting enough volume on the ground that it hasn’t mattered.

Judkins will have an opportunity to have another big week in Week 6, facing off against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Pittsburgh is allowing the most yards before contact this season (2.8) and isn’t likely to push the Browns into a negative (pass-heavy) game script. Judkins is a high-end RB2 who can easily finish as a top 10 fantasy back in Week 6.

Should I Start Chase Brown for Fantasy Football?

Brown is arguably one of the biggest busts in fantasy football in 2025. Brown was routinely taken as a second-round pick thanks to the strong finish he had in 2024, combined with the general excitement of the Bengals’ offense this season. The thought process was that Brown would dominate the touches in Cincinnati’s backfield to such a degree that, at worst, he would be a reliable high-floor running back regardless of the offensive environment.

Ultimately, the Joe Burrow injury has put a significant dent in Brown’s production this season. But the bigger issues for the veteran running back are the poor play of his offensive line, combined with his inefficiency on the ground this season.

Brown is currently in the bottom 10 among qualified running backs in expected points added (-13.8), success rate (29.2%), yards before contact (0.7), yards after contact (1.8), and explosive run rate (1.5%).

There is a hope that adding Joe Flacco at quarterback will help Brown on the ground, but unfortunately, Flacco doesn’t fix the inability of the offensive line to create movement in the run game. Brown’s volume (17.4 opportunities per game) makes him an RB3/FLEX play each week. However, his matchup in Week 6 (Green Bay) is difficult enough that Brown is probably better off on your bench.

Should I Start J.K. Dobbins for Fantasy Football?

Dobbins continues to operate as the focal point of the Denver Broncos' offense. Dobbins is currently the RB17 in PPR scoring (14.5 points per game) despite having just eight targets, six receptions, and 23 receiving yards through five games.

Dobbins has offset his underwhelming pass game role with amazing efficiency and volume on the ground. He averages 15.4 carries and 80.4 rushing yards per game. He’s also scored four touchdowns in five games this season. Dobbins has at least 15.0 fantasy points in three of five games this year (one of the weeks he missed, he scored 14.8).

The veteran running back has four top 20 finishes at running back this season. He is a locked-in top 20 running back option weekly as long as the team trusts him on the ground.
