Xavier Legette Labeled Day-to-Day
Xavier Legette (hamstring) remains day-to-day, according to David Newton of ESPN. Legette picked up a hamstring injury in Week 2 and hasn't played since. With Legette banged up and Jalen Coker (quadriceps) still week-to-week and not particularly close to returning from Injured Reserve, the Panthers are looking forward to getting rookie Jimmy Horn Jr. involved going forward. The 24-year-old Legette was unable to practice at all last week, although he could have a shot at returning for a Week 5 matchup against the Miami Dolphins if he gets back on the field this week. The Panthers need all the help they can get in the passing attack behind rookie first-rounder Tetairoa McMillan, who has been the only consistent target for quarterback Bryce Young. Legette has caught only four of his 15 targets in two games for eight yards. He should be on the waiver wire in 12-team leagues.
