Carolina Panthers running back Chuba Hubbard's (calf) usage was limited to just 10 rushes for 49 yards in Sunday's 42-13 loss to the New England Patriots. However, he mitigated the fantasy impact by securing all three targets for 20 receiving yards. The more concerning development, however, was the unexpected workload split: Rico Dowdle registered nine carries for 32 yards, while rookie Trevor Etienne posted seven carries for 33 yards. This increase in involvement for both Dowdle and Etienne is hopefully the result of the Panthers limiting Hubbard out of precaution, given he was limited in practice all week with a calf injury. This backfield distribution and Hubbard's health will be a critical storyline to monitor as the Panthers host the Miami Dolphins in Week 5.--Jp Sticco
