Chuba Hubbard Runs Well in Week 3 Win
In the Carolina Panthers' 30-0 victory against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 3, running back Chuba Hubbard had a solid game on the ground but failed to find the end zone. The Panthers' defense was dominant, shutting down RB Bijan Robinson and the Falcons' offense, which meant the Panthers' offense wasn't asked to do much. Hubbard rushed 17 times for 73 yards (a 4.3 yards-per-carry average) and added two catches for three yards. He ran well and, most importantly, protected the ball. While Hubbard was limited in the second half due to the lopsided score, his backup, Rico Dowdle, still got some work in, rushing for 30 yards on 10 carries and a touchdown. Hubbard and the Panthers' rushing attack will face a tougher challenge in Week 4 against the New England Patriots, a defense that held the Pittsburgh Steelers to just 64 rushing yards in their loss in Week 3.
