Tough Matchup for Tetairoa McMillan in Week 3
Carolina Panthers rookie wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan can solidify himself as an every-week WR2 in all fantasy formats in Week 3 against a very good Atlanta Falcons defense. McMillan has continued to operate as the team's top wide receiver and quarterback Bryce Young's favorite target. Through the first two games, McMillan has seen a consistent workload, garnering a total of 19 targets. Coming off a Week 2 performance where he posted six catches for 100 yards, including a 40-yard reception, McMillan has solidified himself as a must-start option in all fantasy formats. However, his Week 3 matchup with the Atlanta Falcons won't be easy. The Falcons are the NFL's second-ranked pass defense, averaging just 139.5 passing yards against per game. They've also been extremely effective against opposing teams' top wide receivers. In Week 2, they held superstar Justin Jefferson to just three catches for 81 yards. Even with the tough matchup, McMillan's consistent target share and clear connection with Young make him a viable fantasy option. While a monster day is not expected, his high volume makes him a solid WR3 or flex option in Week 3.
