Chicago White Sox first baseman Tim Elko (knee) was placed on the 10-day injured list on Friday. Elko was removed during the first game of Friday's doubleheader due to right knee soreness. Before game two, Elko was placed on the IL with a right knee sprain. He went 0-for-1 in his lone plate appearance and figures to miss a few weeks now. In a corresponding move, outfielder Will Robertson has been recalled from Triple-A Charlotte to take the spot on the active roster. Elko isn't someone that needs to be rostered in fantasy formats right now.--Andy Webb
