Trevor Williams Lands on Injured List
Trevor Williams (elbow) has been placed on the 15-day injured list on Friday. Williams is reportedly dealing with a right elbow sprain, so he'll likely be sidelined for a few weeks. It's worth noting that Williams allowed a season-high seven earned runs during Wednesday's outing. Before that, Williams allowed four runs during his start on June 24. Maybe, the Nationals are just giving Williams some time to rest and get back on track. Regardless, fantasy managers shouldn't expect him back until the end of July. In a corresponding move, right-hander relief pitcher Ryan Loutos has been recalled from Triple-A to take the spot on the active roster.
