New York Mets infield prospect Colin Houck has been promoted to High-A Brooklyn. The 2023 first-rounder slashed .252/.351/.461 with eight home runs and 11 steals in 62 games for Single-A St. Lucie. The right-handed hitter recorded a high 28.7 percent strikeout rate, but it was a vast improvement over last season's 36.3 percent strikeout rate at the same level. He also walked at an above-average rate of 12.3 percent, which is the third straight season he's walked at a double-digit rate. At just 20 years old, he's still got time to develop and figures to be a couple of years away from the majors at this point. The 6-foot-2 slugger has some good pop in his bat, but for now he's not on the dynasty league radar.--Jarod Rupp
