Jonatan Clase Leaves Game with Knee Contusion
Jonatan Clase (knee) left Tuesday's game with a right knee contusion. He was replaced in the field on defense after taking a 93-mph sinker off his knee in the previous half inning. He looked to be in considerable pain immediately following the hit by pitch, but it's a good sign that he was still able to remain in the game to run the bases. The Blue Jays confirmed that he left the game with a contusion, so there doesn't seem to be any worry of a more serious fracture. The 23-year-old has had an unexciting season so far, slashing .205/.279/.282 with one home run and three stolen bases in 24 games. He should only be on fantasy radars for very deep leagues.
