Koby's top DraftKings and FanDuel MLB DFS picks for today, Saturday, 5/17/25. His favorite daily fantasy baseball lineup sleepers and value picks for DFS on DraftKings and FanDuel.
Welcome Back, RotoBallers! We have a solid eight-game slate on this Saturday evening. Hopefully, you all have done well with the picks this week, and it continues into the weekend. The Pitching on this slate is a bit more lackluster compared to the last couple of days, but should make for a more spread-out slate when it comes to ownership numbers.
This article will provide my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 5/17/2025, and I'll focus most of my picks from the main slate starting at 7:05 p.m. EDT on both sites. The lineup picks will showcase elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Tyler Mahle - TEX vs. HOU ($9.6K DK; $8.8K FD)
Tyler Mahle might be one of the best pitchers on the slate tonight. He gets a tough matchup against Houston, which has been doing better recently. Both DeGrom and Eovaldi have had great games against them, and Tyler has been efficient lately.
Tyler has had a 21.2% strikeout rate on the season with a 10.2% SwStr%. Tyler has been keeping guys off the bases too, and has the slate's lowest WHIP at 0.96 to go along with his 1.47 ERA.
Tyler Mahle has been one of the best pitchers in baseball so far this season, and last night he threw another gem, earning his 4th win after 6.1 innings of 1-run ball 🔥🔥
He is now 4-1 with a 1.47 ERA and a 0.959 WHIP on the season 👀 #AllForTX pic.twitter.com/lTO4Q27Goc— Kane McCutchen (@Kane_McCutchen6) May 13, 2025
Pablo Lopez - MIN at MIL ($9.7K DK; $9.8K FD)
Pablo Lopez has been solid this season with a 27.7% strikeout rate. He has a solid ERA of 2.77 to go with a great 0.97 WHIP. Milwaukee has been terrible this month as they have the worst wRC+ in the league at a lowly 64. Like Dan said yesterday, outside of Christian Yelich, Milwaukee doesn't have much for LHH, which has produced much better against Pablo Lopez.
Minnesota has been red-hot as well and should contribute to getting them ahead in this one and hopefully getting Lopez the win.
Luis Severino - ATH vs. SFG ($7.7K DK; $7.8K FD)
This one is a bit risky as the weather is blowing hard to the outfield in San Francisco, but Severino is a completely different pitcher when he is away from home. He has only allowed two runs in 19 innings for a .95 ERA in away games this season, compared to the 6.75 ERA he has at home in 34 innings.
The Giants have been middle of the pack when it comes to hitting during May so far, but if Severino keeps the contact low, then he could make for a cheap pitcher to save us some money.
Also Consider: Zac Gallen- ARZ vs. COL ($9K DK; $10.2K FD), Grant Holmes - ATL at BOS ($7.2K DK; $8.1K FD)

DraftKings, FanDuel Infielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Ketel Marte, 2B - ARZ vs. COL ($6.2K DK; $4.4K FD)
German Marquez has been blown up multiple times this season and now goes up against the hot-hitting Diamondbacks. Although injured for part of the season, Ketel Marte has still been solid this season. He has a .418 wOBA with a .633 SLG against RHP this season. This is a great matchup for him and is probably one of my top plays on the slate.
Luis Arraez, 1B/2B (FanDuel Only)- SDP vs. SEA ($4.3K DK; $2.9K FD)
Luis is lighting it up right now with three three-hit games in his last seven games to go along with 12 hits in that time. He isn't hitting for much power, but he is getting on base, and if the guys in front of him can get on base, then he has the ability to drive those runs in. He seems to be riding hot at the moment, so I want to hop on it while he still is, especially against Emerson Hancock, who is prone to left-handed hitters.
Vinnie Pasquantino, 1B - KC vs. STL ($3K DK; $2.9K FD)
I think Pasquanitino is too cheap for how well he has played recently, especially against RHP, where he has 12 hits in his last 30 ABs. Miles Mikolas has been hurt by LHH more this season as well. LHH has hit .365 wOBA and .443 SLG this season. He had a home run last night, and hopefully, he can keep up the hitting here against a mediocre pitcher.

Also Consider: Hyeseong Kim - 2B/SS ($2.6K DK; $2.8K FD), Eugenio Suarez - 3B ($4.1K DK; $3.6K FD), J.P. Crawford - SS ($3.5K DK; $2.7K FD)
DraftKings, FanDuel Outfielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Trevor Larnach, OF - MIN at MIL ($3.9K DK; $3K FD)
Trevor Larnach looks like a home run play here against Tobias Myers. Myers has been very susceptible to LHH this season, giving up five runs in four innings to them. Trevor has nine hits in his last six games, including two home runs, both against RHP. He has been on fire against RHP recently with a .567 wOBA and .952 SLG in his last 20 ABs against RHP. At his price, he is a great plug-and-play guy either as a one-off or a small Minnesota stack.
Trevor Larnach has a six game hit streak, and a four game extra base hit streak. He is slashing .258/.335/.431 (.776) since the start of last season.
The American League OPS since the start of 2024 was .704 at the beginning of play today. https://t.co/QlsK0cIkJe pic.twitter.com/0OVvMnIGLw
— Twins Dingers (@TwinsDingers) May 14, 2025
Fernando Tatis Jr., OF - SDP vs. SEA ($5.8K DK; $4.2K FD)
Emerson Hancock has been susceptible to both sides of the dish, but RHH are striking out much less and hitting the ball for average just as well. Tatis has been one of the best hitters in baseball this season, and after a slow night last night for the Padres, this is the perfect spot for him to bounce back. In the last 10 games, Tatis is batting .418 wOBA with a .520 SLG. This is one of my top spend-up options on the slate.
Andy Pages, OF - LAD vs. LAA ($4.2K DK; $3.4K FD)
Shohei Ohtani is the best option for the Dodgers, but Andy Pages is a solid alternative who has been playing extremely well. Pages has seven hits in his last 13 ABs against LHP. With how well the Dodgers have played against LHP, Pages should see quite a few ABs, giving him plenty of time to do damage here.
Also Consider: Corbin Carroll - OF ($4.4K DK; 6.1K FD), Jung Hoo Lee - OF ($4.4K DK; $3.1K FD), Julio Rodriguez - OF ($4.6K DK; $3.3K FD)
DraftKings, FanDuel MLB DFS Stacks
Los Angeles Dodgers (5.6 implied run total) vs. Tyler Anderson (LAA)
The Dodgers feel like the obvious stack here, but every metric is off the charts against lefties in May. They have a wRC+ of 219 to go along with a .490 wOBA and a .742 SLG! Tyler Anderson has been serviceable for the Angels this season, but he is about to run into a freight train, and he might get blown up here.
San Diego Padres (4.6 implied run total) vs. Emerson Hancock (SEA)
Emerson Hancock looked solid in the outings before getting blown up by the Yankees. But he is about to get another tough matchup with the Padres, who have been hitting the ball extremely well in May. Hancock has a 6.91 ERA to go along with a 1.71 WHIP, which is the highest on the slate.
The Padres have a wRC+ of 133 against RHP, which is the second-highest in May. The Padres' offense is on fire once again and should be able to take care of Hancock and likely get to the bullpen early.
Minnesota Twins (4.0 implied run total) vs. Tobias Myers (MIL)
Tobias Myers has been nothing special this season and isn't a threat in the strikeout department with a low 14.7% K% to go with a minimal 7.1% SwStr%. He is also catching the Twins at the worst time.
Minnesota has won 12 straight games and has a .320 wOBA to go along with a .423 SLG in the month of May. Lefties have hit Myers especially hard, so guys like Larnach and Castro are going to be huge here.
