The fantasy football world has turned its attention to dynasty rookie drafts. However, it’s never too early to prepare for redraft season.
Every year, fantasy players do countless hours of research to prepare for their redraft league drafts. One of the best ways to prepare is to do several mock drafts, using different strategies to find the best combination of picks.
Therefore, let’s dive into this way-too-early redraft league mock draft. The lineup for this mock draft is one quarterback, two running backs, two wide receivers, one tight end, one flex, and five bench spots. Let’s see how picking from the third spot in a 12-team league turned out.

Rounds 1-4
Pick 1.03 – Bijan Robinson, RB, Atlanta Falcons
After a productive rookie season, Robinson took his game to another level in 2024. He finished the year as the RB4, averaging 18.3 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. The former Texas star finished third among running backs in rushing yards (1,456) and fifth in touchdowns (14) despite splitting the backfield with Tyler Allgeier.
Furthermore, Robinson was one of the top running backs in the passing game. The superstar ranked third at the position in receptions (61), fourth in targets (72), and fifth in receiving yards (431). More importantly, he averaged 24.7 touches and 24.5 fantasy points per game during the three weeks Michael Penix Jr. started as a rookie.
Pick 2.10 – Ladd McConkey, WR, Los Angeles Chargers
There are several second-year wide receivers I want on my fantasy team in 2025. However, McConkey is near the top of the list, ranking as my third favorite second-year wide receiver in redraft formats behind Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas Jr. The former Georgia star was the WR12 as a rookie despite the slow start, averaging 12.5 half-point PPR fantasy points per game.
McConkey was Justin Herbert’s best weapon in the passing game. He led the Chargers in receptions (82), targets (112), and receiving yards (1,149) while finishing second in touchdowns (seven) behind Quentin Johnston (eight). While Los Angeles added Tre Harris during the NFL Draft, McConkey should still get drafted as a top-12 wide receiver in redraft leagues.

Pick 3.03 – Josh Allen, QB, Buffalo Bills
Rarely will I take a quarterback early in a single-quarterback league. However, Allen is the exception to the rule. The superstar has finished as a top-2 quarterback in five consecutive seasons. Last year, he was the QB2, averaging 23.7 fantasy points per game before sitting out a meaningless Week 17 matchup.
Despite lacking a No. 1 caliber wide receiver, Allen had 28 passing touchdowns. He has had at least 28 passing scores in five consecutive seasons. Furthermore, the superstar has another massive year on the ground. Allen had 12 rushing touchdowns despite James Cook leading the NFL with 16 rushing scores.
Pick 4.10 – Marvin Harrison Jr., WR, Arizona Cardinals
Unfortunately, Harrison didn’t live up to expectations as a rookie. He was drafted as a top-10 wide receiver in redraft leagues last year. However, the former Ohio State star finished the season as the WR29, averaging 9.7 half-point PPR fantasy points per game, a lower average than Darnell Mooney (10.1).
Yet, Harrison is one of my favorite bounce-back candidates for the 2025 season. Reportedly, the former Ohio State star has bulked up this offseason, suggesting he will run more routes in the middle part of the field. In contrast, the receiver was used more as a vertical threat last year. More importantly, Harrison led the Cardinals with eight receiving touchdowns despite catching only 53.5% of his targets last season.
Rounds 5-8
Pick 5.03 – Xavier Worthy, WR, Kansas City Chiefs
While he should be healthy and ready to play come Week 1, Rashee Rice is likely facing a suspension for an off-the-field incident from last offseason. Therefore, Worthy should start the year as the Chiefs’ clear-cut No. 1 wide receiver. He ended his rookie season as the WR33, averaging 9.3 half-point PPR fantasy points per game.
More importantly, Worthy ended last year on fire, ranking as the WR10 during the fantasy playoffs, averaging 10.3 targets and 17.5 fantasy points per game. Furthermore, the former Texas star was outstanding in the Super Bowl, totaling eight receptions for 157 receiving yards, two touchdowns, and 31.7 fantasy points.
Pick 6.10 – Kaleb Johnson, RB, Pittsburgh Steelers
The 2025 NFL Draft had a loaded running back class. While Johnson was the fifth running back selected, he will be one of my higher-rostered rookies in redraft leagues. The Steelers lost Najee Harris in free agency, letting the veteran sign a one-year deal with the Los Angeles Chargers.
Meanwhile, Jaylen Warren is back on a one-year restricted free-agent tender deal. Johnson should quickly earn the starting role, seeing the bulk of the work on early downs. Harris had at least 1,000 rushing yards yearly in Pittsburgh, averaging 12.3 or more half-point PPR fantasy points per game as a Steeler. Don’t be surprised if Johnson has similar production as a rookie.
Pick 7.03 – Jordan Addison, WR, Minnesota Vikings
Addison is one of the more underrated young wide receivers in the NFL. After a successful rookie year, the former USC star was outstanding last season with Sam Darnold under center. He finished the year as the WR20, averaging 12.1 half-point PPR fantasy points per game, positing a higher average than Jaxon Smith-Njigba (11.9).
Furthermore, Addison is one of the top touchdown scorers in the league. He had 10 touchdowns on 108 targets in 17 games as a rookie. Last season, the star receiver had nine receiving touchdowns on 99 targets in 15 games. After ranking in the top 10 in receiving touchdowns in back-to-back years, I’m all in on Addison in 2025.

Pick 8.10 – Stefon Diggs, WR, New England Patriots
Unfortunately, Diggs suffered a torn ACL in the Week 8 win over the Indianapolis Colts, ending his season. However, the veteran played well before getting hurt, ranking as the WR9 over the first seven weeks, averaging 7.9 targets and 12.6 half-point PR fantasy points per game despite splitting targets with Nico Collins and Tank Dell.
Reportedly, Diggs should be ready for Week 1 of the upcoming season. The veteran takes over as the Patriots' No. 1 wide receiver with limited and inexperienced options behind him on the depth chart. While the injury is a concern, Diggs should see the target volume needed to finish as a low-end WR2 this year.
Rounds 9-12
Pick 9.03 – Jordan Mason, RB, Minnesota Vikings
The Vikings traded for Mason earlier this offseason, swapping Day 3 picks in the 2025 NFL Draft and a sixth-round selection in the 2026 NFL Draft for the young running back. Last year, he finished as the RB37, averaging 9.1 half-point PPR fantasy points per game as a part-time starter for the San Francisco 49ers.
However, Mason was productive as the starting running back. He averaged 22.8 rushing attempts and 17.9 fantasy points per game over the first four weeks, totaling 16.9 or more in all but one contest. While Aaron Jones re-signed with Minnesota earlier this offseason, Mason will have a role as a co-starter. Furthermore, he has league-winning upside if Jones misses significant time with an injury.
Pick 10.10 – Dalton Kincaid, TE, Buffalo Bills
Fantasy players had high hopes for Kincaid last year after the Bills moved on from Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis in the offseason. Unfortunately, the former Utah star fell well short of expectations, ending the year as the TE28, averaging 6.1 half-point PPR fantasy points per game.
Furthermore, Kincaid dealt with multiple injuries, including a knee issue that the team later admitted that they should have shut him down over. Therefore, I’m giving him another chance in 2025. Buffalo still lacks a No. 1 caliber wide receiver, meaning Kincaid could lead the team in targets and touchdowns this upcoming season.
Pick 11.03 – Jaydon Blue, RB, Dallas Cowboys
Despite being a fifth-round pick, Blue is among my favorite targets in dynasty rookie drafts. Furthermore, the former Texas star will be among my highest-rostered rookie running backs in redraft leagues. He has a pathway to significant snaps as a rookie after getting picked by the Cowboys in the NFL Draft.
Dallas has an up-and-coming offensive line, limited weapons in the passing game, and two ineffective veteran running backs ahead of Blue on the depth chart. Therefore, he could be this year’s Bucky Irving. The former Texas star had nearly 1,100 scrimmage yards and 14 touchdowns last season, including six receiving scores.

Pick 12.10 – Roschon Johnson, RB, Chicago Bears
Many expected the Bears to use an early pick in the 2025 NFL Draft on a running back. However, the team waited until the seventh round to select Kyle Monangai. Therefore, Johnson is the favorite to fill the David Montgomery goal-line role in Ben Johnson’s offense.
Last year, Johnson tied D'Andre Swift for the team lead with six rushing touchdowns. However, he had 198 fewer rushing attempts than the veteran (253 vs. 55). Reportedly, Chicago could sign Nick Chubb or J.K. Dobbins before the start of training camp. Yet, Johnson will be a popular last-round draft target for me until and unless the Bears add a running back in free agency.
