The Pittsburgh Steelers have re-signed defensive back James Pierre to an undisclosed contract. Pierre will enter his sixth season with the team after initially signing with the Steelers as an undrafted free agent in 2020. In 2024, he ranked fifth amongst Steel City's cornerbacks in snaps (207), notching 12 tackles, two fumbles forced, and one interception in 15 appearances. However, he was also an asset on special teams, registering 55.8% of snaps in that phase of the game. Pittsburgh lost a few defensive backs in free agency, so the 28-year-old may garner more playing time at his position than in years past. Still, he's unlikely to make an impact in fantasy as a depth/rotational piece for the organization.--Alex CiullaRead More News
