The Cleveland Browns notified defensive tackle Dalvin Tomlinson that he will be released at the start of the new league year on Wednesday, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Tomlinson will be designated as a post-June 1 cut and can officially sign with a new team on Wednesday. The 31-year-old veteran interior defensive lineman started 16 games for the Browns in each of the last two seasons and had three sacks in both years as well. He had 26 tackles (13 solo), six tackles for loss and a career-high 18 QB hits in 2024. Regardless of where Tomlinson lands, he can be avoided in IDP fantasy leagues, having never recorded more than 3.5 sacks in a single season in his eight years in the league. Tomlinson was originally a second-round pick (55th overall) in 2017 by the New York Giants out of Alabama. He spent the first four years of his career before joining the Minnesota Vikings in 2021 and 2022.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
