Today's DraftKings CBB DFS lineup picks for 1/25/25. Mike M's top daily fantasy college basketball sleepers to build winning NCAA DFS lineups on DraftKings.

There are 27 games across DraftKings tournaments today. The 11-game main slate is the largest starting at noon. The nine-game afternoon slate begins at 4 p.m. Eastern. The seven-game night slate finishes the day at 8 p.m. EST.

This should be an exciting and action-packed day of college basketball with most of the country's top teams taking the court!

Here are my picks across all CBB DFS slates on Saturday, January 25 with the main slate starting at noon Eastern on DraftKings.

Today's Main Slate DraftKings CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Best Matchups:

Pitt guards vs. Syracuse

North Carolina State guards vs. SMU

Iowa State guards vs. Arizona State

Vanderbilt frontcourt vs. Kentucky

Boston College frontcourt vs. North Carolina

Core Pieces:

Joshua Jefferson, Iowa State ($10.2K)

one of the biggest improvements offensively for Jefferson from last year is how aggressive he is attacking the rim and drawing fouls, really gave UCF problems on drives and rolls.

Jefferson nuked Central Florida this week and gets another great matchup against Arizona State. He likely won't set a new career high as he did against Central Florida (30), but he should flirt with 50 DraftKings points again.

Matt Cross, SMU ($7.5K)

Cross has been nothing but solid since joining the starting lineup on November 18. Only Virginia has held him under 24 DraftKings points in that span. He has topped 30 in four of the last five games and nine of 12 since becoming a starter.

Bensley Joseph, Providence ($6.2K)

Joseph returned to the starting lineup for the first time in a month last weekend and played all 40 minutes in a close loss to Villanova. He scored 36.25 DraftKings points in that one. The Friars should keep him in the lineup for a great matchup against Georgetown.

Value Pieces:

Trey Townsend, Arizona ($4.8K)

Townsend scored a season-high 19 points against Oklahoma State this week in just 20 minutes. Townsend was the alpha with Oakland last year, so it has been an adjustment for him to be just another cog in the Arizona machine. He's a starter on a good team for under $5K. You can't really beat that.

Jayden Epps, Georgetown ($4.6K)

Epps made his return to the starting lineup after nursing a hamstring injury on Monday. He played 31 minutes in the upset of Villanova, scoring 15 points and dishing out four assists. That's a great return in this price range.

Slate-Breaking Potential:

Caleb Love, Arizona ($8.3K)

Impressive game for Arizona with 90+ points on the road, especially off its first loss in the Big 12.

Caleb Love finished with 27 points (10-17 FG, 4-9 3FG) and Trey Townsend had 19. Jaden Bradley had a career high three 3-pointers made. Offense is clicking for Tommy Lloyd.

Love is inconsistent, but his ceiling is very high since he takes so many shots. He scored 27 points against Oklahoma State this week and put up 34 against TCU on New Year's Eve. He has that GPP ceiling we all chase.

Amari Williams, Kentucky ($7.3K)

Williams has at least 30 DraftKings points in four of the last five games. He has played a combined 96 minutes in those four games. If Williams can stay out of foul trouble, he could go as high as the mid-40s.

JJ Starling, Syracuse ($6.8K)

Starling is exclusively a shooter, but he averages 19 points per game and has scored at least 20 points in four of the last five games.

Core Pieces:

Cooper Flagg, Duke ($10.9K)

Cooper Flagg is having a HISTORIC freshman season‼️

What that post didn't mention is that Ben Simmons did that on a really bad LSU team. Flagg is doing that on a very talented Duke team.

Flagg has at least 45 DraftKings points in five of the last six games. The game in which he missed the mark was a blowout win over Miami when he played just 28 minutes. He's the only guy who can touch 60 on this slate.

Ernest Udeh Jr., TCU ($7K)

Udeh has all the grace of a newborn colt on offense, but he is a force on defense and on the glass. We have seen UCF dominated by big men in the last couple of weeks. If Udeh can muster anything on offense, he'll break 40 DraftKings points.

Terrance Arceneaux, Houston ($4.6K)

Arceneaux started in place of Emmanuel Sharp on Tuesday and put up 35.5 DraftKings points. Sharp was still spotted in a boot on Thursday, so I would say the chances of him playing are very slim. If Arceneaux starts again, use him in every lineup.

Value Pieces:

Jalen Celestine, Baylor ($4.8K)

Celestine missed four games with an ankle injury to start the 2025 calendar year, but he's finally back up to speed. He put in 18 points in 30 minutes against Kansas State this week to go with seven rebounds. He's a starter who is a big part of this team. Enjoy this price while it lasts.

AJ Storr, Kansas ($4.5K)

The injury to KJ Adams has opened up some minutes for the Wisconsin transfer. Storr put up 25.5 DraftKings points against TCU in his second start in place of Adams. This is not a good matchup against Houston, but the price is right and he's starting.

Slate-Breaking Potential:

Hunter Sallis, Wake Forest ($8.4K)

This is a tough matchup for Sallis, but he can score almost at will and puts up solid peripheral stats. He's a nice GPP dart since ownership will be low and his ceiling is 50.

Vasean Allette, TCU ($7.3K)

Allette is averaging 17 shots per game in conference play. He doesn't quite hit 40 % of those, but when he does, the ceiling gets quite high since he functions as the point guard most of the time. This is a great matchup against UCF. The sky is the limit today.

Khaman Maluach, Duke ($6.6K)

Maluach was also a highly-touted prospect coming out of high school last year. He has played second fiddle to Flagg all season, but Maluach has carved out a role for himself on this team. Foul trouble limited him against Boston College, but I expect him back on track against a weaker Wake front.

Today's Late Slate DraftKings CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Alabama vs. LSU

Miami guards vs. Cal

LSU guards vs. Alabama

Cal frontcourt vs. Miami

St. Mary's frontcourt vs. Washington State

Core Pieces:

Cam Carter, LSU ($9.3K)

There are higher ceilings on the slate, but no one can match the efficiency of Carter. He's shooting 45% from the field, 40% from three-point range, and 91% at the line. Not only that, but he's a strong defender and a good rebounder from the perimeter. Carter hasn't been under 26 DraftKings points since November 22.

Jalon Moore, Oklahoma ($8.5K)

Moore is the only reason the Sooners have been competitive in SEC play. He has at least 20 points in three of the five conference games and at least seven rebounds in four of them. This is a solid matchup against Arkansas. Expect Moore to be the focal point of the Oklahoma offense once again.

Johnell Davis, Arkansas ($5.5K)

The Florida Atlantic transfer played 37 minutes in place of Boogie Fland against Georgia this week. Fland will miss the rest of the season, so Davis will play as many minutes as he can. He's not a great per-minute guy, but playing that many minutes, he's not going to have any problem putting up good stats for the cost.

Value Pieces:

Jeremiah Wilkinson, Cal ($4.9K)

This is a great matchup for the freshman. He scored 18 points in 32 minutes against Florida State this week with Andrej Stojakovic sick on Wednesday. If Stojakovic still isn't 100%, expect another hefty minutes load for Wilkinson.

Mawot Mag, BYU ($4.2K)

The Rutgers transfer has logged more than 20 minutes in four of the last five games after only hitting that mark once in his first 12 games. Mag has looked to score for the Cougars and is as strong as ever on the boards. He's a solid value pick when he plays 20 minutes per game.

Slate-Breaking Potential:

Mark Sears, Alabama ($9.7K)

The usage is high and Alabama has scored 100 points in back-to-back games. You may as well anchor your line with the catalyst of the team. Sears is going to the line like vintage James Harden right now.

Matthew Cleveland, Miami ($8K)

Cleveland has carried this team on offense (except for the Duke game) since Nijel Pack went down. He has scored 54 points in the last two games alone while still putting up solid peripheral numbers. The matchup doesn't get any better than this. If Cleveland is to have a ceiling game this season, it should happen here.

Isaiah Watts, Washington State ($6.3K)

This is the ultimate boom-or-bust pick. Watts has been out since December 18 with a hand injury but will play tonight. We just don't know how much he'll play. He averaged 29.3 minutes per game in the first 12 games before he got hurt. If he plays anywhere near that, he'll crush at the price.
