Who Should I Start For Fantasy Football Divisional Round? Kyren Williams, David Montgomery, Khalil Shakir

Kyren Williams - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL Injury News

Who should I start for Divisional Round? Fantasy football outlooks for Kyren Williams, David Montgomery, Khalil Shakir. Our expert fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks.

Unfortunately, the first round of the NFL playoffs had five blowouts in six games.

Hopefully, the Divisional Round games will be more entertaining.

Should fantasy players start Kyren Williams, David Montgomery, or Khalil Shakir this week? Let’s dive into it.

Should I Start Kyren Williams For Fantasy Football?

Williams was the RB7 during the regular season, averaging 15.9 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. The former Notre Dame star had a solid performance in the Week 12 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles, totaling 16 rushing attempts for 72 yards, a touchdown, and 11.2 fantasy points.

Last week, Williams had a similar performance in the Wild Card win over the Minnesota Vikings, totaling 16 rushing attempts for 76 yards and three receptions for 16 receiving yards and a touchdown. The veteran is a solid starting option against the Eagles, especially given the expected snowy weather conditions.

Should I Start David Montgomery For Fantasy Football?

After missing the past three games because of a knee injury, Montgomery is off the injury report and ready for Saturday night’s matchup against the Washington Commanders. The veteran was the RB18 for the regular season despite missing the final three contests, averaging 14.6 half-point PPR fantasy points per game.

The former Iowa State star has been a scoring machine, totaling 12 rushing touchdowns in 14 games during the regular season. Meanwhile, the Commanders surrendered 22.9 fantasy points per game to running backs during the regular season, the 11th-most in the NFL. Montgomery is one of my fantasy plays this week.

Should I Start Khalil Shakir For Fantasy Football?

Shakir was the Buffalo Bills’ top weapon in the receiving game this season. The third-year pro finished the year as the WR38, averaging 9.6 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. Furthermore, he had four receiving touchdowns after totaling three over his first two seasons in the league.

Unfortunately, Shakir had a quiet performance in the Week 4 loss to the Baltimore Ravens, totaling four receptions on five targets for 62 receiving yards and 8.2 fantasy points. Fantasy players shouldn’t expect a better performance in the rematch, especially with Buffalo likely to see heavy snow for Sunday’s contest.

Wide Receivers Start 'Em and Sit 'Em Picks

The running back position is quite interesting in championship week. Any starting RB as well as a handful of RB2s should be considered for starting lineups.
