Sean Tucker is a fantasy football waiver wire pickup option at running back. Target him as a free agent waiver add for Week 8 of the 2024 NFL season.
BALLER MOVE: Add and stash in deeper formats

ANALYSIS: The Bucs backfield got a whole lot more complicated after veteran back Rachaad White missed the team's Week 6 contest against the New Orleans Saints. Rookie Bucky Irving and sophomore back Sean Tucker went crazy, rushing 28 times for 217 yards and two touchdowns while also combining for five receptions for 80 yards.
Head coach Todd Bowles said all week that Tucker's performance could make this a 3-man committee going forward, but unfortunately, that makes the situation the stuff of nightmare fuel for fantasy.
Why is Rachaad White outscoring Bucky Irving and Sean Tucker? Didn’t they play better than him more recently and are therefore the better players?

It's probably time to tap the brakes a bit on Tucker. Sure, the guy lit up the scoreboard with a monster 36.2 fantasy points against the Saints in Week 6, but let's not get too carried away chasing past glory. Tucker's still stuck in that dreaded RB-by-committee tangle down in Tampa.
Looking ahead, the Bucs are about to run a gauntlet of tough run defenses leading up to their Week 11 bye. That's not exactly the yellow brick road for a repeat of Tucker's breakout party. While you want him stashed on your roster because, hey, you never know. But banking on him to deliver those juicy fantasy digits week in and week out might be a stretch.
Unless something happens to White or Irving, it's hard to see this situation playing out favorably for anyone.
