Fantasy Football Injury Updates for Week 6: Anthony Richardson, Malik Nabers, Jonathan Taylor, A.J. Brown, James Cook

Anthony Richardson - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL News

Fantasy football injury updates and injury reports for QB, RB, WR, TE for Week 6, as of 10/12/2024, including Anthony Richardson, Jonathan Taylor, Malik Nabers and more.

With four teams taking their bye this week, injuries continue to be a major factor as leagues already near the halfway point of fantasy regular seasons.

Managers' benches and waiver wire adds are getting tested, as major contributors like Jonathan Taylor, Joe Mixon, Malik Nabers, Anthony Richardson, and James Cook, among others, head into Week 6 with injury designations.

As a few marquee players will not be cleared until shortly before kickoff, make sure to favorite the fantasy football player news page and download the free RotoBaller fantasy football mobile app. This is the latest as of Saturday, Oct. 12.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Anthony Richardson Injury Update

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson (hip) heads into Sunday's game at Tennessee with a questionable designation, according to the team's injury report.

The former Florida Gator missed last week's game at Jacksonville because of the injury. Joe Flacco is firmly the Colts' second option if Richardson can't play in Week 6.

Jonathan Taylor Injury Update

The Indianapolis Colts already have ruled out running back Jonathan Taylor (ankle) for their Week 6 game at the Tennessee Titans.

The Colts did most of their offensive damage through the air last week at Jacksonville, but Trey Sermon and Tyler Goodson earned 10 and five carries, respectively. Ironically, Flacco had the Colts' longest carry of the day at 21 yards.

Malik Nabers Injury Update

The New York Giants will be without No. 1 wide receiver Malik Nabers (concussion) as they prepare for their Week 6 game against Cincinnati, according to the team's injury report.

Nabers entered concussion protocol after New York's loss to Dallas in Week 4 and hasn't yet been cleared. Darius Slayton led New York's receivers last week with a monster performance of eight catches, 122 yards, and a touchdown on 11 targets in win at Seattle.

Davante Adams Injury Update

Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams (hamstring) won't play in Week 6 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, the club announced Friday.

So far, Adams is still a Raider, but those days seem numbered as trade talks continue. Wide receiver Jakobi Meyers and rookie tight end Brock Bowers are tied for the team lead in targets through five games.

James Cook Injury Update

Buffalo Bills running back James Cook (toe) did not practice again on Friday, according to the team's practice report.

The Bills play Monday night against the New York Jets, but fantasy managers likely will have to make lineup decisions before then. If Cook is downgraded at any point, rookie Ray Davis figures to be the lead back for Buffalo.

Rachaad White Injury Update

Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Rachaad White (foot) is listed by the team as doubtful for its Week 6 game against New Orleans.

White was downgraded during the week, so it looks as if rookie running back Bucky Irving will be the Bucs' lead back. Irving already had been cutting into White's workload and currently leads the team with 247 rushing yards.

A.J. Brown Injury Update

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown (hamstring) is officially off the injury report as the team plays Cleveland in Week 6.

The Eagles also will return DeVonta Smith, who cleared concussion protocol. Following a bye week, the Eagles should have their full receiver repertoire for the first time since Week 1.

Joe Mixon Injury Update

Houston Texans running back Joe Mixon (ankle) is expected to play Sunday, according to Aaron Wilson of KRPC in Houston.

Mixon has not played since Week 2, but he commands a massive percentage of the Texans' backfield work when healthy. In Mixon's absence, running back Dare Ogunbowale emerged as an additional pass catching option, racking up 155 receiving yards on 16 catches.

Brian Robinson Jr. Injury Update

Washington Commanders running back Brian Robinson Jr. (knee) will be a game-time decision against the Baltimore Ravens, according to Nicki Jhabvala of the Washington Post.

Robinson scored twice last week against Cleveland, albeit on just seven carries for 18 yards. With Robinson limited, running back Austin Ekeler compiled 97 total yards on nine touches, but quarterback Jayden Daniels led the team in both carries (11) and rushing yards (82).

Devin Singletary Injury Update

New York Giants running back Devin Singletary (groin) is officially questionable for the club's Sunday Night Football game against Cincinnati.

Running back Tyrone Tracy Jr. looked excellent in the lead role last week, piling up 129 yards on only 18 carries. The rookie figures to keep earning carries with or without Singletary available this week.

David Njoku Injury Update

Tight end David Njoku (knee, ankle) of the Cleveland Browns will play against the Philadelphia Eagles, according to Scott Petrak of the Chronicle Telegram.

Njoku played in Week 5, but didn't fully practice in the lead-up to Week 6. The Browns are 1-4 through five weeks and haven't scored 20 points in a game since Week 17 of last season.
