Sam LaPorta - Week 4 Fantasy Football Start 'Em, Sit 'Em Picks

Sam LaPorta - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL Injury News

Sam LaPorta fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 4 (2024). Should you start or sit Sam LaPorta for fantasy football lineups?

BALLER MOVE: Start in 10+ Team Leagues

POSITIONAL VALUE: TE1

ANALYSIS: Sam LaPorta should be viewed as a strong start in Week 4 despite his slow start to the 2024 season.

In Week 3, LaPorta managed just two catches for 36 yards, which may seem underwhelming, but he was still involved in the Lions’ offense with a decent target share.

As Detroit looks to integrate him, this week’s matchup against the Seahawks offers an ideal opportunity for a breakout performance. Seattle has historically struggled against tight ends, allowing significant yardage and touchdowns to the position last season, making this a favorable spot for LaPorta to improve on his Week 3 performance.

Additionally, LaPorta’s chemistry with quarterback Jared Goff is expected to grow as the season progresses. As Goff looks for reliable options in the short to intermediate passing game, LaPorta’s route-running ability and physicality make him an appealing target.

In a game where Detroit could be in a shootout with Seattle, LaPorta may see increased red-zone opportunities, boosting his touchdown potential.

Fantasy managers should trust the second-year tight end’s talent and favorable matchup in Week 4, viewing him as a solid option for tight-end production despite the slow start.

Wide Receivers Start 'Em and Sit 'Em Picks

The running back position is quite interesting in championship week. Any starting RB as well as a handful of RB2s should be considered for starting lineups.
