Jaylen Waddle fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 4 (2024). Should you start or sit Jaylen Waddle for fantasy football lineups?
BALLER MOVE: Bench in 10+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: Low-end WR3
ANALYSIS: Fantasy managers should consider benching Jaylen Waddle in Week 4 against the Tennessee Titans due to the uncertainty surrounding the Dolphins' quarterback situation.
With Tua Tagovailoa still sidelined with a concussion and backup Tyler Huntley making his first start of the season, Waddle's production could be negatively impacted.
Last week, with Skylar Thompson under center, Waddle only saw four catches on five targets for 26 yards. Huntley is an unproven passer in the Dolphins' system, and there's a strong chance Miami will lean more on the run game to protect their inexperienced quarterback, limiting Waddle's opportunities.
Jaylen Waddle
- ZERO QB play
- Bottom 5 offense
- 7.55 fantasy points per game
- 33.5 receiving YPG without Tua
If Tua comes back this season or within 4-6 games, Waddle will be fine.
Additionally, the Titans' defense is ranked middle-of-the-pack in pass defense but has been more vulnerable to running backs and tight ends.
Given Huntley's lack of chemistry with Waddle and the team's likely conservative game plan, it’s hard to trust that Waddle will see enough volume or high-quality targets to make him a strong fantasy option this week.
For managers with solid depth at wide receiver, benching Waddle until the quarterback situation stabilizes could be the safest move. This week, Waddle can be viewed as a low-end WR3.

Cleveland Browns running backs Dylan Sampson (hand) and Raheim Sanders will have more opportunities to touch the football in Week 17. The Browns starting RB, Quinshon Judkins (leg, ankle) is out for the season after suffering a gruesome leg injury in Week 16. Arizona Cardinals running back Michael Carter also stands to benefit workload-wise since […]
The running back position is quite interesting in championship week. Any starting RB as well as a handful of RB2s should be considered for starting lineups. Even the "lower-tier" starting RBs can be quite valuable for fantasy teams. We just saw Tennessee Titans running back Tony Pollard, who was one of the biggest draft busts […]
