Antonio Gibson fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 3 (2024). Should you start or sit Antonio Gibson for fantasy football lineups?
BALLER MOVE: Bench in 10+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: RB3
ANALYSIS: Despite Antonio Gibson's solid Week 2 performance, totaling 96 rushing yards on 11 attempts, he remains a risky start for fantasy football in Week 3.
Rhamondre Stevenson is firmly entrenched as the Patriots' starting running back, and while Gibson flashed his potential as a backup, his workload remains inconsistent.
Against the Jets' stout defensive front, the Patriots will likely lean heavily on Stevenson, leaving Gibson with limited opportunities. His role as a change-of-pace option means he could struggle to get enough touches to make a fantasy impact this week.

However, Gibson is still worth adding to leagues if available, especially for fantasy managers looking for running back depth. His efficient production in Week 2 shows he can contribute if given the chance, and injuries or game flow could increase his role as the season progresses.
Gibson’s versatility as both a rusher and a pass-catcher makes him a valuable handcuff to Stevenson and a potential flex option in favorable matchups down the road. While he's not a strong start in Week 3, his upside warrants a spot on fantasy rosters.
