Pocono NASCAR Practice Speeds, Lap Averages, and Notes

Tyler Reddick - NASCAR DFS Picks, Betting Picks, Daily Fantasy NASCAR Driver

NASCAR Practice Speeds, Notes, and Lap Averages. Use these NASCAR stats and info to build lineups on DraftKings for the the 2024 The Great American Getaway 400 at the Pocono Raceway.

The NASCAR Cup Series ran a single practice session at Pocono Raceway on Saturday afternoon in preparation for the upcoming The Great American Getaway 400 on Sunday afternoon.

The 37-car field was split into two groups for this practice session. Below you'll find the two practice groups, key notes from the practice session and the practice speeds for all drivers.

Pocono is one of the most unique tracks on the schedule. It is massive, coming in at 2.5 miles in length, and there are only three turns. It's a relatively flat track that requires a strong engine and driver being comfortable through the turns in order to be fast.

Important Practice Notes

Kyle Larson - Near the end of the first group's session, Larson spun out his No. 5 Chevrolet. He was able to keep the car off the wall, though, so it wasn't a big deal, as the Hendrick Motorsports driver avoided any damage.

Tyler Reddick - Right at the beginning of the first group's session, Tyler Reddick spun out his No. 45 Toyota. Like Larson, he was able to keep the car off the wall, so not a big deal. The 23XI Racing team put on new tires and Reddick ended up being the fastest in practice.

Martin Truex Jr - All of the Toyotas were fast in practice, but it was Martin Truex Jr that had the best lap averages. The No. 19 Toyota ranked fastest in five-, 10-, and 15-lap average in practice.
