Mid-Week Waiver Wire Rankings - Fantasy Baseball Pickups: Shane Baz, Brooks Lee, Christian Scott, Heston Kjerstad, Jose Miranda, DJ Herz

Shane Baz - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, Prospects, Draft Sleepers, MLB Injury News

Mid-week fantasy baseball waiver wire rankings for Week 15 (2024). Free-agent hitters and pitchers to add include Shane Baz, Brooks Lee, Christian Scott, Heston Kjerstad, Jose Miranda, DJ Herz.

Hey, RotoBallers! July is officially here, and we are a week away from the MLB All-Star Game. The season's official halfway point is right around the corner, and here at RotoBaller HQ, we are back with more in-depth waiver rankings. Today, we will review our mid-week waiver rankings for Week 15 -- July 1 through July 7 -- to help you stay on top of the waiver wire, especially in leagues that allow daily moves. James Wood, Brooks Lee, Christian Scott, and Shane Baz were recently called up to the show. Other top prospects, such as Coby Mayo, Jackson Holliday, Deyvison De Los Santos, Jacob Wilson, and Adrian Del Castillo, patiently await the call to the big leagues.

Some notable recent performances and injury notes include Minnesota Twins third baseman Jose Miranda, who is slashing .390/.449/.1.010 with a home run, 13 RBI, six runs, and a stolen base over his last 11 games. The Rays traded right-hander Aaron Civale to the Milwaukee Brewers on Wednesday, making room to insert top prospect Shane Baz into the starting rotation. Baz owned a 1.57 ERA, 1.30 WHIP, and 35:10 K: BB across 23 innings in June. Baltimore Orioles top prospect Heston Kjerstad is hitting .350 (7-for-20) with two home runs and eight RBI over his last seven games. Injuries continue to pile up as Royce Lewis, Casey Mize, Jordan Montgomery, and Joey Ortiz were recently placed on the injured list. Jordan Romano underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right elbow Tuesday and will be shut down for six weeks.

This edition features players such as Shane Baz, Christian Scott, Landon Knack, David Festa, Heston Kjerstad, Brooks Lee, James McArthur, DJ Herz, Elias Diaz, Sal Frelick, Reed Garrett, LaMonte Wade Jr., and Robbie Ray. We're here, as always, to help you stay on top of the latest waiver-wire options, especially in leagues that allow for daily moves. Prospects who are making impacts continue to be called up, so you'll need to be informed. Be sure to stay on top of our weekly waiver wire rankings and turn on MLB news alerts to stay ahead of the curve. Once you're done here, check out our fantasy baseball prospects articles for the latest names to stash and pick up.

Fantasy Baseball Waiver Wire Pickups List

For anyone unfamiliar, we release all sorts of fantasy baseball waiver wire articles every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. As part of that, Nick Mariano releases our waiver wire rankings list on Sundays to help you prioritize which players to target as free-agent adds off waivers.

In addition, we are also putting out a second waiver wire rankings list mid-week. Since many fantasy baseball leagues have daily waiver-wire moves or multiple waiver-wire runs per week for adding players, this mid-week rankings list should help you keep track of players emerging in the middle of the week before we reach Sunday.

This article will guide you with our weekly ranking for the relevant waiver-wire pickup options, including how to prioritize them for your league (depending on the league size). Roster % is from Yahoo leagues.
